Holy crap!!! Where did you get this info from? I can't find it on Insta, Twitter, or Behind the Veil.

FB under their Third Thursday event for today. The event itself has been up there for several weeks now but they posted the pin info in the comments last night. They also posted to their main page this morning along with the can availability for today.

I couldn't go tonight so I was a little relieved the raffle wasn't for something super cool like 2016 SF. Those pins do sound pretty great.

I was expecting them to raffle something more too. Nothing against the Horns but was thinking maybe a sneak peek mix 4 of the cans they have been prepping for the party Saturday.

For those out-of-towners coming in this weekend and planning to hit multiple breweries here is the RVA Beer Trail Map that lists all the breweries (Vasen has not yet opened). You can pick up a map at the breweries or print it out with the link below. Visit 5 along with getting the map stamped by the brewery and you get free SWAG at your 5th stop. I think most places are out of the t-shirts since those were from several months ago but the new item is a trucker cap.

I finally got to do the Tasting Trail a couple weekends ago. I know it's been a couple weeks but a lot of places still had shirts and had no issue letting you pick what you wanted. I think it's worth asking if you'd prefer a shirt. It's really cool you can knock out 4 stamps with less than 20 minutes of walking around Scott's Addition.

    Layout for tomorrow.

For those who have never been to Veil the big white square is the parking lot. The white rectangle below the restrooms on the right is the interior tasting room. The black area is not accessible to attendees.

The entrance area looks like it could get squirrelly. People waiting to get in meshing with those making to-go purchases, getting draft tickets plus the restroom line. not to mention those who will be lining up for merch and redeeming their scratch off next to it. Not drawn to scale so the big squares probably won't be as congested as it appears.

Must say this event was so smooth and laid back.

Should we expect people to be camping out for the leftovers release tomorrow? If only they were able to post remaining limits tonight but you can certainly understand with how swamped they've been the last week. Hoping there's enough to grab a few varieties!

Wow, I hope they adjust those limits. Not that everyone will buy the limit but enough for max 17 people. 1/2 4pks would do, oh well, such is life.

Agreed - I won't be able to get there until close to opening, so just hoping I can at least get a bottle of BA sleeping forever and try some of these on tap. If there are any good Samaritans that would like to help me out with some cans, I'd appreciate it though.

I can't blame them for trying to sell out of the cans as quickly as possible though. I'm sure it was a busy week throwing this party together.

They've edited to 4pks instead of cases

Any idea how crazy line will be? Getting there by 11 should be fine right?

From the looks of it no. About 3 1/2 hours early, roughly 50 people here

Can't say enough good things about how easy & smooth this event went. No lines for anything, pick ups were simple, etc. Great time.

That vanilla is worth lining up for, but I feel bad for people who got there at 8AM today thinking they were good with 36 vanilla bottles then having that cut to 20. That beer was easily the best for me yesterday and was the only one I paid to get an extra pour of.

Echoing all the praise for the event - they absolutely killed it. Staff was friendly as always, even with 300 people it really didn't feel that crowded (not sure how session c was will all the rain though). Zero lines for pours, pickup, purchases... just a perfect event all the way around.

I'm enjoying a vanilla sleeping forever from tap, it is great. But yeah, those bottles are long gone. It looks they still have the barrel aged version, but the line is still wrapping partway around the lot.
