I still have one bottle from the last release! I enjoyed it but i hear ya. Been wondering if I should crack it or what. I will say, I believe that's the same price it was last time. Can't remember if there were limits or not.

Curios what you think would be a more appropriate price for it?!

This beer was $25 last time it was released in 2014 as well, FWIW, though it was also aged in PVW barrels.

2014 was boozy but I wonder if middling/inconsistent experiences with that batch are increased from TG having waxed it while still cold. I know I had some mold forming around the caps in my cellar bottles and have tasted off bottles from friends with less ideal storage conditions than my cellar.

Oh man, I had forgot all about the potential wax issues (bummer) but also about the pappy aging (saweet!)

What I'd pay for it: I'd pick up a bottle at $10/per if I stumbled across one. Appropriate? Hard to say. I think it's solid but nothing special, & there's tons of bombers like that on shelves for $12-15. I've had it a few times & always come away underwhelmed. That's clearly not the common experience...

If they barreled it with PVW that's certainly a waste of PVW barrels, but that's just my 2 cents.

I think that was the last batch and it ended up becoming Rue the Crown. I could be completely wrong, but I didn't think they had any Pappy barrels left.

    That sounds right to me.

I thought Naughty Temple was always in Templeton barrels. Hence the name.

Either way, not a beer I get too wound up over. I like it much better than Naughty 90, and do think they've gotten pretty on-point whiskey flavors in the past, but just not my bag.

I believe the last batch of naughty temple was dumped due to quality control issues. Im guessing rue was another project on the side of that

Naughty Temple is Templeton Rye barrel aged Naughty 90. Not sure where PVW barrels came into the equation but I highly doubt that.

Never been a fan if ANY oak aged IPA.....

    Per Mike's Twitter:

Naughty Temple: Barrel Aged Strong Ale. We're blending 3.5 year PVW aged barrels with 14 month HH barrels in this run!

I'm pretty curious about Dragon Fandango. Isn't this the first kettled sour they've ever done?

I really like Naughty 90 so the idea of a bigger or boozier iteration is exciting to me. Alas, I'll be out of town so I'll be trying to trade for it.
