Toppling Goliath Releases and Updates

Just saw on Instagram that El Cerrito over in Southern California received a shipment of TG cans. With no limit. How bow dah?

 

Guy at Casanova tonight was trying to decide between the cheaper Pseudo Sue cans and the $10/ea bomber. Employee was going his best to explain the difference to him and why the cost was justified.

Saw him check out and he didn't have ANY Toppling Goliath beers with him.

TG needs to do something ASAP about Pseudo Sue and the Brew Hub cans. Setting the Double Dry Hopped version aside, the beer tastes nothing alike. They need to rename it or something because it causes great confusion for the average consumer....

 

People are awesome sometimes. Was able to have someone pick me up a growler. Super pumped. Can't wait.

 

I need to find an awesome person to send me a growler....

 

Yeah :/ Mine was through a friend of a friend, so it wasn't completely random. Hope you get one! $30 a pop though.

 

Spendy! Though not surprising. Our best Hazy IPAs in Nebraska are the THAT! beers from boiler and we pay $12 for a 32 ounce crowler. I was lucky enough to try a little bit of Scorpius last year from one of the Omaha guys who makes the trek out to TG on a fairly regular basis.

 

Found a messias as well. So thrilled !

 

Seen someone post on Twitter Scorpius was on tap at Stanley's Beer and Bacon fest, really regretting skipping this one.

 

Thanks to one of the best guys I know I can sit at home with a growler of Scorpius!! Had to resort to some urban morel hunting for dinner but that's a ok with me!

Picking sides with the TG hops the past 6 months has become damn near impossible, it's really splitting hairs. The King has competition!

Way improved over last years batch! Dank, smooth as hell, a nose that matches the taste! Damn fine work TG Crew!

Has TG imposed a growler limit on Scorpius yet or are you still able to grab a few?

 

I'd have to imagine there's a growler limit.

If there wasn't, they'd have sold out on Day 1.

 

Well Clark or whoever was on their twitter handle said no limits when it came out (but said 10 seems like a lot or something to that effect). Just wondering if I'm able to grab 2-3 for myself and a friend.

 

I was there over the weekend, and there weren't any limits in place on the Scorpius. Granted, that may have changed since Saturday.

 

Believe they says limits would be placed when stock was getting low.

 

Just had Scorpius last night. It's fantastic. Can't wait until next year when they finally bottle it.

 

Won't be able to make it to the taproom until Friday evening - do people think scorpions morchella will last until then?

 

They made a ton of it. I'm sure you're fine.

 

They must have made more than last year. I've been in the field for the past few weeks and haven't gotten out much. My wife did bring home a 32oz growler last weekend so I got to try it. I just assumed it was a small batch and limited as such.

 

I believe they brewed approximately 52 kegs of it (based on a tweet they sent out).
