Ouch. What's a can go for at top hops?

Insightful response for sure. But you know, you might as well just name names. Is taking passive aggressive potshots at other breweries via a hashtag on Instagram a look you want truly want to own? Seems a little salty.

WF BP didn't have it as of this morning. I'll probably stop by again around lunchtime.

hmm... i can see how it could look like throwing shade. our hope though is to raise the quality of the conversation around the beer so that the beer itself gets better. it's VERY frustrating that the haze debate has been framed as "hazy=yeasty and clear=clean." It's a false choice. We want to stand behind the idea that hazy beer should also be relatively clean.

    this is delicious

Burley Oak. I was just there this past weekend picking up cans and their IPAs are exactly like the second photo. It was pretty gross, it was complete sludge.

Ive had that problem with a couple of burley oak cans. All sludgey AND on top of it, they are now turning brown... delicious!

fwiw i am not at all familiar with burley oak and can't speak to this; i am not going to name names because the perpetrators are mostly young upstart breweries and it just feels wrong to call them out directly

You mean you guys don't add flour to your beer for that dank haze?

On a serious note, it wasn't hard to figure out where that second picture came from via google image search.

FYI - City Swiggers had a Grimm tap takeover on Monday, I stopped by yesterday to try out Cloudbusting. Tesseract was not on tap nor did they have cans as of yet, I think I overheard them say Thursday.

The UES location of Milk & Hops just opened, they have DDH Tesseract available in cans and tap. I think i'll need to stop by after the corporate challenge.

Sorry to revive the prior discussion, but I'm interested. @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales with regard to the source of haze, do you think the poor examples (like the brown-ish one above) are products of over pitching yeast, not allowing proper flocculation time, or not cold crashing? A bit of each? Just interested in your thoughts.
