People are complaining on FB that they "only" get 8 cans of Sap. Christ almighty.

Well that saves me sitting on the MassPike in traffic today. I like Sap, but not enough to sit through the terrible traffic up here coming from Bedford, MA.
Now a silent like a Very or C36 I may have done it.

The trend of silent releases lately has really done a lot to make people bitchy when there isn't one. It's crazy how ridiculous it's gotten and how fast it's gotten there. TH announced King JJJ on twitter the day before last year. If they did that now they'd have people setting up tents

So if I roll in at 1pm on a Saturday would they likely still have growler fills and that's it? Do the beers they fill usually run out too or not as fast?

This is wildly inaccurate. I was in line last year when they announced King JJJ was being released and I was one of the first to announce it on social media (FB Trill forum to be exact).

I feel like you have no right to complain when you line up hours ahead of time before the announcement. You reap what you sow.

I don't think Tree House has ever announced a beer the day before (excluding Tuesdays). Maybe back at Brimfield for growlers, but definitely never with cans.

They announced a few leftover for the next day if I remember correctly as my buddy went and was shut out.

I guess the two growlers of highly-rated Double IPAs aren't enough for them either?! Unreal.

To be fair, they're only letting you get one 750ml growler of either Haze or Doppel.

Ah, I thought you could get one 750 of each.

If you get there at 1 on a saturday it is pretty likely they will have no cans and probably no growlers. However, they've been doing full pint pours on saturday afternoons recently when they run out of growlers/cans. I believe its a 1 pint limit per person, although I have never been there for pours

Tree House is the one setting these expectations. They have silent released something, what, every week for the last 2/3 months. Completely agree, the entitlement is garbage but people wouldn't have these expectations without Tree House setting the expectations. I know we like to jump all over the consumer but the business also has a part to play.

Seems to me treehouse makes quite a bit more beer than Bissell currently so I don't think it will be like Bissell. I mean, prior to the recent expansion, Bissell was making like 400 cases of subby a week, with maybe another 150 cases of one to two other beers. Even their "huge" swish release was like 350 cases....Treehouse is making 2000 cases a week now, and I would think that Charlton will have an increased capacity over Monson. Heres to hoping CHarlton is like Canton sooner than later....

I know they're doing it to try to keep the craziness down but they could also block off the parking lots before x time if they really wanted to keep people out. Silent releasing at actual open time might get people to show up at the correct time. But as of now being early is the best way to guarantee beer

Blocking off the parking lots would just lead to even more crazy traffic on the local streets. I'm sure their neighbors are pissed off enough as it is.

What do you say we stop rehashing what they should do, and let THEM run their own business. There are plenty of other places to go if you're unhappy, not to mention starting your own brewery if you can do better.
