I'll give myself a bit of variety and insure overlapping availability.

Not in order of preference for the most part.

Strongly taking availability into consideration as well as affordability and also favoring year-round beers (why limit yourself with seasonals?)

    Tripel Karmeliet
    Schneider Aventinus Weizen-Eisbock
    Great Divide Hibernation
    North Coast Old Rasputin
    La Cumbre Malpais Stout
    Rodenbach Grand Cru
    Breakside IPA
    Melvin Hubert Pale Ale
    Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier
    Prima Pils

I narrowed my list almost entirely to year-round available beers (exception is the Hibernation, but I can find that pretty easily for 6 months straight here in Colorado and it ages well).

I found it difficult to try to balance higher ABV beers for cool winter months with lower ABV stuff that I could sip on all year. So in the end, I tried to select really "drinkable" high ABV stuff that I can still find myself enjoying even in warm winter months. It still hurts to live without a Quad/BDSA, DIPA, traditional Doppelbock, dark lager, helles, or witbier but those are the breaks.

I don't want to play this game. It doesn't sound like fun at all. Oh sure the first month would be but isn't variety one of the best aspects of the beer world we now live in.

Availability kills my consideration for treehouse, as does unpredictability of rotating beers.
I've become increasingly frustrated with Trillium. I would consider putting something like FPPA on my list but I till have to travel a bit to get it, so doesn't cut it for me.

Part of making the list is predicting what beers will be available to you in the future. One can choose to be optimistic about the future availability of Trillium or Treehouse or just go based on what's available today.
