Radio Swan will be next. Can art is fucking killer. We partnered with local artist Tony Fitzpatrick.

Snooze can date is TBD...but will be this summer.

Excellent. Any chance cans will make it beyond the city limits?

It's possible. Up to our sales team & distributor. I would suspect the best of the best in the burbs (you know who they are) will likely get some.

Oh hell yes. Every time I see an FR beer at Binny's I think about this. Awesome news!

"Usual suspects" can be interpreted in one of two ways: (1) actual stores; or (2) the same neckbeards and mules that astoundingly have both the time and disposable income to populate seemingly every retailer -- midday mind you -- and who monopolize every single drop of every highly sought-after beer. I think you mean the former though.

I agree. I've had a couple cans of a NEIPA from LIC Beer Project that were canned back in the middle of March (still have two left, actually) and a Mikerphone Special Sauce bottle with a few months on it and they both still drank as good as they were fresh.

@SeanBond largely answered your question, but I will add that my impression from talking to the HB guys was that they were going for more of the Alchemist NE style rather than the milkshake-y vein of NE style. Further complicating matters is the overall nebulousness of the style. what one person considers a NE style IPA another may not ... This makes labeling a beer difficult. For instance Hailstorm doesn't call their cloud series New England style - they call them Northeast which I think is interesting. That being said, Im not defending the marketing ploy by HB - in fact Ive been rather critical of it and those beers here - but I can see where they were coming from.

Yeah this is what it seemed like to me as well.

It's tough, because no one expects anything else from the Alchemist, but it seems like every other brewery that goes down that path gets criticized for it. I've mentioned this a few times here, but Maplewood's first Juice Pants (the one I said was completely clear) is one of my favorite beers of theirs, but everyone else gave them shit for calling it NE style. I'm not saying it was the best representation, for sure, but I also think it's very hard to get credit for making an NE beer if you don't make it look like Trillium. You're basically look for (ideally) a bright yellow, completely opaque beer (or light orange, if you must).

Yet another reason why canning become mainstream has been so awesome. The possibilities for art have really blow up.

One idiot's opinion: Nailed is pretty "meh". Very syrup-y sweet (as opposed to citrus-y sweet).
