They created a Facebook event for 6/15. Bigger canning run this time, on draft all weekend.

This is going to be a perfect beer to bring to the race track.

I don't necessarily disagree, especially if it's only marginally more than the 80-90 cases last round. I will say, from 2pm on I didn't see anything obscene. Meaning, I saw people buy a case but nothing like what I've seen at Juice is Loose releases

Think a crowler tomorrow will keep for a week?

We cracked a week old Van Hazen and Reign in Punch last week and they tasted as fresh as from the tap. As long as it's stored properly it should be fine.

I don't know which beer you're talking about (Squeezit maybe?), but I would say yes for sure. I held one for 2 weeks to take to DLD and it was just as good as the one I had fresh. I plan on grabbing one as well to give to my brother next weekend.

Agreed, I had a week old Van Hazen and there was no drop off.

I can confirm this as I drank out of this exact crowler and I was pleasantly surprised as to how fresh it tasted. Really held up nice.

Can't wait for Squeezeit tomorrow. I will definitely be making a stop.

I'm just curious, but you guys aren't completely going away from your botanical stuff, are you? I dug that uniqueness; Forbidden Root is so much better than Not Your Father's. I realize this isn't the forum for this, so I hope I don't derail the thread too much.

Look at their menu and collaboration with Fernet Branca....there is no mistaking this is still a botanical beer place that makes unique stuff and one of the things they do really well, just happens to be an extremely popular style right now commanding more attention than the other stuff they do.

Cool, thanks for the info on crowler experience. Going out of town so it sounds like it shouldn't be a problem if one of these is in my fridge awaiting my return...

BHA was very Meh for me. Glad I only bought 1 4pack. Not a bad beer but nothing to write home about eiter. The other one offs they have been putting out latley are much better.

I like the beer a lot, but (to me) it's not as good as it was the last couple years. The draw of BHA is that it's a typical HA IPA with citra hops, but it has vienna malt. It usually has a crisp, clean finish (and that kind of crackery taste that comes with vienna). This year's didn't seem to have that as much as it has in the past.

I mentioned this in the HA thread, but I think it's partially related to the yeast (or whatever it is) that falls into the beer if you pour the entire can into a glass (much like some NE IPAs). It doesn't make the beer completely opaque, but it makes it foggier, and the taste isn't as crisp.

ahh. That sounds right on. Like it was good but it just kind of had this muddy finish. Tasted great but wasnt crisp or clean.

I'm starting to think I got a different beer than you guys for BHA. Crisp and clean are pretty much the exact things that came to mind.

Of corse, it's not a NEIPA, so we probably shouldn't even be talking about it in this thread!

How wild do y'all think Corridor will be tonight? Thinking to stop by and getting some crowlers but maybe on the later end of the evening. Last time for that Mikerphone collab release it was packed up until about 9pm.

Don't think it'll be as crazy considering there's no more Mikerphone beers available. Plus the fact they're pre filling crowlers will make pick up that much easier and decrease the amount of bodies standing around the bar.
