Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Exeter is definitely quite tart as Anchordrops mentioned....Another good sour by Shorts....I absolutely love sours but as tart as this one is...A single bottle at a time is enough....Loved it though

I never had the first batch of MMB, but I had a can of the new batch last weekend. I very much enjoyed it. I got plenty of lime. I would purchase it regularly if it was available in Chi for those summertime, all-day, drinking days.

 

Love MMB, but not enough is making to Indiana this time. Reinforcements are needed!

 

I think I saw Short's Cake clocks in at 4.3% this year. Even though it wasn't TOO much higher in the past, I'm looking forward to session with it this summer at that low ABV!

 

Picked up a six of shortscake at plum mkt in west bloomfield. Oh yes. I love strawberries. I also love shortcake. You know.... I really love them together. in this beer. every year. Oh and the victory malt really gives it a some biscuit/light toast flavors. This beer is a home run every year and one of my favorites ! Pick some up if you haven't tried one.

Its my fav summer beer and one friends and family ask for. (besides my homebrew..which they rarely ask for because I brew APA and IPA almost exclusively lol.. though german pils and lager beers make appearances throughout the summer)

Throw some bottles of spruce pilsner in there too.

 

It sure looks like Short's listens to us here on the BA site, so how about getting us some PGGB before the end of the year?

 

And I respect them for listening.

Sidenote, I was in Michigan yesterday and found six packs of Publican Porter. By God I love that beer.

 

I'm so happy Spruce will be in the sampler, I was pretty shook up lol!

I gripped about Superfluid and I was told my
opinion would be considered and alas here it is......wish it were in individual 6 packs but at least it was bottled......

 

Got my latest sampler today. Pretty sweet that everything in the box was bottled within the last 2 weeks. Can't wait to dig in tonight. Pretty excited about Kwikriek too.

 

Welp, I guess it's time for one of my favorite activities: knocking back a few and writing mash notes/wish lists to brewers.

I think Short's finally has their timing down. I remember when some of the releases were bottled at least a month or two before they hit the shelves. I think everything this year has been pretty freshly bottled.
