    Hi folks,

I've managed to pick up this year's Beer Camp Around The World mix pack. I've enjoyed reading the commentary and following the discussion around it elsewhere. What's everyone's preferred tasting order been? Obviously hoppy first/fresh, but beyond that what's your lineup look like?

I've just been having my wife choose two at random for me each night.

Yeah, I wouldn't do more than 2 a night, myself. You only get one shot with each of these, most of us anyway, so it's best to give them your attention.

Thinking 2 of 6 different beers would be better, since your taste can be off sometimes. I suppose some would say that with 1 by 12 you get to try more different beers and aren't left with beers you didn't like the first time.

Personally, I'd find, estimate or make a guess at a shelf life for each beer, then drink them in order from shortest shelf life to longest shelf life.

But all 12 beers would be stored in our fridge at home from the get-go and I'd plan on having each of them one a night, with no other beers before any of them, and over no more than three weeks after purchase before they are all gone.

Beers I didn't like is not going to be a problem for me. Never had a beer from Sierra Nevada or their collaborations that I didn't enjoy.

I usually buy a minimum of 2 beers when I'm getting singles for that reason. But this pack is fairly unique, so I'll let it slide .

Still, I wouldn't want to squander the opportunity so I'm taking it slow with it, myself.

Hmmm, so as Everett Dirkson (once upon a time a Senator from Illinois) once said, "I'm a man of principle and my first principle is 'Be flexible.' "

I'd be happy just to get my hands on a pack.

And/or cheap. I could've bought two packs, you know .

I knocked out 5/12 so far... Basically all the IPA's and other hoppy offerings first. Will move on to the lesser-time dependent bottles next, whenever that specific style sounds good to me.

The ginger lager is tasty and VERY flavorful - tons of ginger and that nice cayenne kick. Even though it's a lighter body beer, be prepared for it to have residual effects on your palate.

I've tried all but the stout and it's easily my favorite beer camp in years. I like that none of them are over the top. Nothing is boring, but nothing is weird (which I feel were my most likely criticisms of beers in past Beer Camps).

Like a few others I have started knocking off the hoppy beers first...so far really enjoying this compared to last years.

I have been doing one or tow each day since i got the case as well. I agree with @TongoRad . Let's take notice of these as they won't be back. I have saved the ginger lager, as well as the porter, the raspberry sundae, ipa w/ yuzu, chai tea and vintage ale all for the second half. My favorite so far has been the dunkel wiesse.

I've always presumed that breweries do the logical thing with one-offs, and look at ratings to see which they might consider making a seasonal/occasional. Maybe that's too logical, but that's what I'd do.

I've been enjoying going back and forth between state side and abroad... always fun to compare new and old world styles. So far they've all been great!

Start with Rasberry Sundae. Everything else will blow you away in comparison.

Gonna save the Vintage and Barleywine for last. So far, as usual for me, I am not that big of a fan of collaboration beers.

And then, I drink the Ginger Lager. There are exceptions to my overall experiences.

Stateside first, especially the CANs, with the exception of The Bruery & the barleywine, then an overseas excursion.
