I didn't see it posted on here, but the taproom has fresh bottles of Hopsmack for sale along with xHops Teal and DDH Sue. ($10, $8, and $9 respectively)

It most definitely is on Twitter. Not up on the website yet, but Twitter for sure.

A month after its bottled? I guess I'm not too surprised...

TG has a distributor now. It's a real pain. They're coordinating cans and bottles to be shipped to the main supplier in Madison, then the MKE distributor has to drive to Madison and pick up their allotment. It's a cluster for sure.

This sounds less like a distributor and more like a hoarding scheme. Guess we can all say goodbye to the finer things in life like same week DDH Sue and 3 day old Sosus. Lame!

We in MN feel your pain. We went through this with Surly when they stopped self-distributing years ago. It used to be easy to find three or five day old Furious, now it can be a hunt to find anything under a month.

I know my Surly can consumption has fallen about 90% since the change. I hope y'all have a better outcome in the long run!

Given how TG has handled things in the past? I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It's a little ridiculous to distribute month+ beer as "new". Maybe I'm getting too riled up over the age, but in this day and age with everyone wanting to get out the freshest possible IPAs, having something sit in a warehouse for over a month before even thinking about distributing it is insane.

And that is when we see stuff at all, which admittedly has improved, but we missed out on a litany of bombers for a good 6-8 months, while WI didn't miss a beat.

I'm just gonna blame IN-Bev for this mess, wouldn't surprise me if they purposefully make companies sit on craft beer for distro.

Fo sho. There were a few rotations of King Sue and Sosus that we just straight up missed out on. More transparency on what's going out for distro/where/when would be nice. I'm not saying it would be less frustrating, but at least it would be helpful to know when your area is getting shut out of that specific drop. Not to beat a dead horse, but the Twitter games are frustrating.

I don't notice this, they always answer when I ask on twitter if it will see distro in a certain state.

No, it's outrageous. So what's the root cause of shitty distributorship? No competition? Graft? Or just not enough consumer pressure/concern? All of the above?

Most consumers don't really care if their beer was bottled 3 days ago or 33 days ago.

"Most consumers" love lite beer too. I would guess most craft beer consumers look for fresh ipa's

Right, which is why there needs to be a craft distributor in the Midwest. Someone who looks out for beer as much as the brewers do. Instead we're stuck with macro BS. Here's to hoping we grow into more than 12% market share.
