Completely agree. The below pic is as of Tuesday at 4:38pm. Six different BA beers (if you count Big Adventure and Big Adventure w/ Habaneros as separate beers). You won't see that many BA beers on their board very often. Not sure how many will still be there when you're in town but you never know.

Sandbar. Gotta figure out if we're gonna stay the night Friday in Tampa or head elsewhere. Don't have anything booked yet and we usually spend time on the Atlantic side, but it seems like there's a lot to do over here, so we may just stay.

    Thanks for all the replies!

Had both yesterday. Love them. Coffee version cuts the brandy a lot, but the non coffee is so brandy, drinks like a barleywine.

They were really good. Very different. Not sure I could pick one over the other.

You have yet to make one complete thought or sentence. What was whalez 3.0? There is no 3.0. Are you referring to peach whalez? Whalez was a Chard BA sour blonde ale. Whales 2.0 was Sav Blanc BA, then there was Peach Whalez (not called 3.0), then Together for Togetherness.

Anna Maria island is probably my favorite place. That being said, the island basically shuts down by like 11pm. You definetly won't find much to do late night on the island itself. There's a little Mexican place right across the street from sandbar on pine Ave that has great food.

There was no 3rd iteration of whalez? Yet you seemed to finally answer the question.

    Amazing!

    PS whalez* 2.0 teehee

Not sure if this was asked yet but for those who tried all 5 collab beers from last week, how would you rank them in order?

Obviously going to be a lot of different opinions, I liked Fri,Tues,Weds,Mon,thurs

I thought tues was the winner until I tried fri on tap the other day. Mon&weds are pretty equal to me.

Yep, I completely agree. Can't really compare the barleywine with the big boy stouts. Friday is RIDICULOUS. Wish I had bought more.

I've only had the Friday thus far, so can't rank them yet but agree Friday was great.

So we hit Cycle and CCB tonight. Great time both places, though Cycle was down to a pretty short tap list, no BA stuff left, but oh well. The cream+sugar and Hazelnut version were both solid, enjoyed both. On the up side I picked up bottles of Together for Togetherness and Home State.

So with all that said, we decided to stay near Tampa for the night. Considering going to the Double Barrel Vanilla blah blah blah release in the morning. Cycle says plenty of bottles and no need to line up, but any other opinions on this? If we just go at 10am or so, should we be good? Any good brunch places in the area?

Yeah we had a great time! Though I don't remember a whole lot to end last night, but I know I ran barefoot to a circle K, grabbed a 6 pack of Smirnoff Ice Screwdrivers, ran back to the bar and iced everyone I was with.

As for the mexi place, was it the one by the donut place??? Cuz we got some great burritos there.

Heads up that this line is getting hefty. If you're planning on getting a db dos, suggest lining up soon.

Just drove by 10 min ago. No chance of waiting in that line. Multiple hundreds deep.
