Noble Ale Works (Q2 2017)

Like Zima. Literally bought a case of Zima at TW brea and I'm completely white girl wasted while watching clueless. Woooooooooooooooooooo

 

Not sure if serious. Zima is decent and so is Clueless.

 

Whoever said this is the best juicy IPA they've made is almost as crazy as whoever said they haven't made a great one at all. 24k and Double Platinum were both stupid good. This is decent, but not close to those. Not bummed though, because the amount of time I spent to buy it and the amount of time I spent to pick it up was glorious. And it's still *pretty* good.

 

Went to Noble, got a pour on draft, picked up the only pack I was able to get of M@M from the sale, then traded the pack locally to some shmuck that posted an ISO on Instagram... for a bottle of Fundamental Forces. Yes, just the single 4-pack I had for Fundamentals Forces. And this is after I had traded 3 bottles of Jam the Radar to get a bottle of Forces just last week.

The haze craze is real guys.

 

What makes the guy a shmuck? Sounds like he got what he wanted.

I'm interested to see how much easier this release will be to grab considering the limit was reduced to 2 4-packs pp. Additionally, this isn't a NE IPA - so we won't have to worry about the hazebros... unless they think it is.

 

Not to mention they just had a release last week and Bottle Logic and Offshoot have can releases this week. Add in Modern Times, Monkish and the Brouwerij West cans floating around and we may be approaching the saturation point of $5 (or more) cans of IPA.

 

Per their Instagram, Noble is selling off abandoned cans of Murk when the taproom opens today.

Can't keep those lawn chairs down.

 

Brouwerji West cans are going for $22 per 4pks.

 

That's retail though. It's cheaper direct from the brewery. Noble Citra Showers are going for $24 retail.

 

How are these Bottle Logic cans? Haven't been paying attention to BL in the last year. So much other greatness going on these days. Now if they put out their Tangerine Dream IPA in cans!!!!

Plan to sit out Punch Out but getting the FOMO quivers.

 

I think they are really good and perhaps the best hazy cans coming out of Orange County. Bonus points for their great customer service and their (relatively) good prices.

Dumb ass Eventbrite said it wasn't available yet at 3:30. Kept refreshing for 2 minutes and then it said sold out. Whatever.
