Chicagoland NE IPAs (2018)

Too early to tell. I'm more familiar with Snooch as ive been wrestling with it for a while.
I can say that I'm really happy and even kind of in awe of Ghost. It came out fucking great. We'll see where it goes in the next couple of days...But right now, I've got no changes.

 

There is reasoning behind this decision. In the case of Squeezit, it's the same malt bill and yeast strain. Also, the Way we DDH the beer will not change. Yes, the Hop bill will change. However, the primary hop in Squeezit will be Mosaic. That being said the main reason in keeping the name Squeezit is that we will have an announcement in the near future regarding a favorite subject in this forum. With that announcement there are governmental issues that require filing with the TTB. With this filing we would prefer to file for two beers as opposed to 25 to 1,000 beers. Also, from a design aspect we would love to design two kick ass designs opposed to 25 to 1,000 designs. TTB regulations are pretty lenient and easy to work with when you just have to add a V2 or II to an approved design and not have to break the bank. This allows us to pass the savings to you guys/gals.

On a side note Van Hazen II (DDH IPA) w/ Citra, Simcoe, and Azacca taps at 5pm on Tuesday, 6/27. This ones really great. Tons of citrus (orange pith and lime), tropical fruit (guava and mango), and dank sticky resin.

Finally, Squeezit V3 is being brewed on Monday. Looking to release on Friday, 6/7. TBD Hop bill, but here's a hint - our 2017 Galaxy have landed and are in house. More updates to follow.

 

Understood from a business perpective...but it's really not the same beer.

It's more of a Beer Advocate/uber-nerd quibble than anything; I think there should be seperate entries on the site, but I certainly have no issue with you keeping the same name/artwork.

 

Galaxy is Hennessy Hop ever for me so that's awesome news..

Mosaic/Galaxy/Citra double dry hopped beers are epic!

 

Hmmmmmm, let me see what we can do about making this reality.

I've got a good friend living in the Chicagoland area that I regularly trade WeldWerks crowlers too in exchange for the good hops from you guys, Corridor, NW, Miker etc. The DDH versions of Juicy Bits are absolutely killer as are their experimental Alpha Bits series. I head up to their taproom quite frequently even though I live an hour away in Denver and will be heading up this Sunday for a couple of releases (non-IPA). If you ever want some crowlers shoot me a PM and I got you. I usually head up there on a Saturday or Sunday and ship first thing Monday morning.

Figuring you mean 7/6 for V3 and can't wait. Sitting @ Corridor now having a Fade2Haze and finding it quite drinkable. Excellent beer and looking forward to some Galaxy brews.

There are about 10 Tree House beers I strongly prefer...

 

The Doppelganger batch from a few months ago was absolutely outstanding. One of the better treehouse beers I have had. I also had one last year and thought it was fine.

 

Since this gentleman disagrees with me, he must be a "fraud" and a "clown".
