Bissell Brothers (2018)

Looks like I'm going to be in town on Sunday. Any chance there will be any cans left since there isn't a super popular beer being released like Swish?

 

They have a release schedule.

 

I saw it. Was just wondering if the can from Saturday might last until Sunday since they Substance and Baby Genius aren't beers that bring people in droves.

 

Ignore Booey's douchiness. I'd say there's a slim chance that cans will still be around. Although I'm not sure how much bigger their substance batches have been. Try giving them a call or a tweet

Very slim chance. While not big draws, due to the sheer volume of people that go through there plus with the nice weather, I would be surprised if the cans lasted until Sunday. And I got Baby Genius last Thursday but it sold out in 2 hours after they opened at noon.

 

I'm an idiot sorry. Seriously. Follow their Twitter. Worst case some local package stores may have something.

I'm not a bissel regular and was surprised by the allotment considering how few cases they have on hand compared to tree house. Again not sure about the traffic later in the day.

What time do cans normally sell out on a Wednesday? More specially the Wednesday after the 4thof July? I assume the crowd is going to be big bc of the holiday. Any idea what time I would need to be there to get some cans?

I know Bissell does not fill growlers but was thinking of bring some from local breweries here in NYC. What are Maine's laws with growlers? Can they be from out of state?

I believe they must be growlers with the label/logo of the filling brewery on them.

 

Is that their first galaxy beer? I'm always impressed how good their beers taste without using some of the most popular hops. Substance especially

I'll be in Portland next Wednesday (are all breweries open on Wednesday's?) Looks like I'll miss Nothing Gold, but was wondering how early I should get there. Did the first release of Swish last fall and trying to avoid anything like that. I believe it'll be Substance and Lux. Should I expect a crazy line? Cheers

 

Won't compare to Swish lines. If you want subby I'd get there within half hour of open. If not, get there anytime after like 1pm for no line and guaranteed lux. It's a 40bbl batch. Enjoy!
