Thanks  How long should I expect to be in line if I get there half an hour before opening?

Depends on how long the line is :stuck_out_tongue:

The weekday releases take a little longer to sit through with the draft pours/merch sales + cans. I went to a recent Thursday release right as they opened. The line was wrapped around the near corner and it took about 30 minutes to get in and out.

Do I remember correctly that there are no can sales on Sundays, regardless of whether or not there were any left over from Saturday? I know I've seen it somewhere but damned if I can find it now that I care.

Coming back from New Brunswick Sunday after next with wife and daughter and pretty sure they won't be interested in just sitting there watching me drink drafts.

If cans are left over on Sunday from Saturday's sale, they will sell them on Sunday.

Thinking about stopping at bissell tomorrow on my way to Maine. Any clue how long baby genius will last? Worth dropping in at like 4?

So I stopped in today and got a 4-pack of Industry Vs. Inferiority. I had actually never had it so I was pumped to try some. So I got a 5oz pour of that and I also got a 5oz of Manamana. I lost track of which was which on my way to find a seat.

Drank one, and was damn impressed. Drank another and was let down. One had a great mouthfeel, was fruity, had a nice light golden hue, all that jazz. The other was pine-ier, thin, darker and just OK. To figure out which was which, I got another 5oz of IvI (For science of course). I was sad to learn the "meh" beer was indeed IvI. But Manamana was freaking great and I wish I had gotten some cans when it was released.

That's all, just thought I'd share...

IvI has always been pretty meh for me. Oh well.. At least they're up to 40bbls on the recip batches.

Reciprocal blows it away. IvI was definitely my least favorite IPA I've had there. Oh wait, I forgot about i-Lucky.

Hello! It's been a couple of years since I made it to the brewery. Does Substance typically sell out every day and how long does it last?

Any update on the can release today? About an hour and a half away. Hoping to snag some Baby Genius.

Holy crap it seems they sell out fast. Wife and I will be visiting in late July but I'm fairly certain there will be no way we get there in time for whatever is released. Guess I'll have to try and set up a trade, I'd love to go back home with some cans in hand.

just depends on batch size and day of week. the 40 bbl batches have been lasting til mid afternoon, especially when released on wed/thurs.

It's a fun place to have a couple pours even if they are sold out of cans.

Yeah, the smaller batches rarely last past 2pm on weekdays. Cans sold out at 2pm this past Thursday. If someone wants cans on a weekday and it's not a 40bbl release, I'd say to get there at opening just to be safe.

Any chance of a 40bbl batch of Nothing Gold on Saturday rolling into Sunday (July 23) or does that always sell out on the day of?

Virtually no chance. They will open at 10 for cans only due to the lines that it pulls. Up there with Reciprocal in terms of lines now that Swish season is over.

Having the lot become a pay lot at Bissell(the point) is a bit of a pain in the ass. Just made a case and the wait a bit pricier.
