I had the Simcoe Eyes and Windy Hill. Both were very good wth the edge to Simcoe Eyes as it had that great Simcoe Pineapple flavor that I love. Windy Hill was light and super crushable. Would buy both again.

I'll jump on this bandwagon. Picked some Gummy Banter up at Binny's yesterday and was massively disappointed. Maybe I'll try another in a week or two, but I can't imagine it improving too much. No juice whatsoever.

Well this definitely sucks to hear. Bought some yesterday to open today to pregame for LCD.

The first 4-pack I had of Banter was good. I just opened a can from my second and I'm getting a similar chalky taste. Considering how good the previous cans were a few weeks to a month out, I'm going to sit on mine and see if they even out.

To your original post, I agree. 15 prop was a terrible example of the NEIPA style. They nailed the opacity and mouthfeel, but I got a ton of strange, off flavors.

I disagree. I think it shows that the Chicago area is already crushing the competition and is far and away the best in the country.

Does anyone know what is on at corridor right now? I saw cosmic kicked yesterday, assuming nothing new was tapped last night?

I thought they were releasing a NEIPA tomorrow or is that Forbidden Root? Its hard to keep up. Wish there was a calendar or something that we could all look/input to.

I thought Pining the West was pretty solid, that is if anybody in Chicagoland can still drink anything that is not a NE Style Ipa. Lol

I always wonder if people judge other IPA's fairly. If people are drinking a nice West Coast IPA, but say well it's no Treehouse. Makes me wish NE Style was considered something else entirely, because I feel that that could be the case.

You should have enough ammo after Black Friday because that is what it seems to take to get people to send out some Tree House. I have personally stopped trading for East coast Ipa's and am pretty happy drinking the Haze coming out of Chicago.

Maybe not as good yet but the brewers are working hard to dial it in and it keeps my Big Guns in the cellar were they belong. Lol

Good point. I'm never drinking a beer like Deep Space, and thinking "it's pretty good, but it's no Pliny. Hopefully they'll dial it in".
