Just had this last night. Thought the flavor was tasty. Mouthfeel/body left a little to be desired, but it I did enjoy the beer. 7 or 7.5/10 maybe for me?

Nah, I know he trolls. I was genuinely curious if he just thawed out of an ice block like encino man. It's been a while.

Does anyone know when War Pigs brewpub is supposed to open in Chicago? Because if they put out NE/DDH/hazy IPAs anything like they do right now at the Copenhagen location, we are in for some more high quality offerings! Elite Human IPA and Lazy, rite? IPA hit a pretty sweet spot.

I've never had one. I've heard lotsa lactose and some fruit added.

I thought Stay Lit was my upper threshold for lactose/sweetness.

Typically, I don't like fruit ipas.

    So, maybe.

Yea, if Stay Lit was your upper threshold, I don't think Milkshakes would be your jam. But it never hurts to taste and see. If I ever get a can soon, I have no problem sharing, for research purposes of course haha

Don't think they have stated they will open one, just speculation due to the vacant space Nick Floyd is linked to. I don't see why they couldn't contract brew them like they do with Lazurite. As long as they market in advance, put out a good product and don't go overboard on supply, no reason they couldn't release an NEIPA in cans here.

"It could happen" does not equal supposed to open. They were supposed to open a Chicago FFF 5 years ago and a distillery 3 years ago...if they announce they plan to open a physical Warpigs here, I would probably go off FFFs timeline of many, many years to get these things going.

Of course 'could' doesn't mean 'is' but that's a whole lot more disclosure by FFF than usual on anything.

I'm in the camp of it more than likely happening, and sooner rather than later. The building they own has been remodeled and its looking close to ready from the outside. Unless they secretly sold it and someone else is doing something with the space. But it's looking a lot like a brewpub from the outside.

Anybody been out to Ram in Schaumburg lately to see if Justin has any new beers on tap? Dont really trust the Ram website updates as I went in one time for a particular beer that had apparently kicked weeks earlier.

Have been really curious about the Radlers but now I will have to give them a try. Thanks for the recommendation.

Any thoughts on the new 18th Street IPAs? I really like them both on fruit flavor and body but find them a bit too sweet.

I'm also really psyched to see The Answer get some notice around here and hopefully they keep doing collabs.
