    Yeah, normally it's probably only 105*F
Might do better next year if you keep pumping the water to them...as far as the Multihead, try finding a fertilizer with some trace Boron https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boron_deficiency_(plant_disorder) ...sometimes that will encourage them to climb. I have a CTZ that spent a day in my maibox that is just now looking like it wants to grow. First cutting of Chinook and Cascade is about ready though. Cheers

So quick question where this came back up. My plants just started really stretching out, one is starting to look like it will be showing where the hops or flowers will grow soon. What is the best way to tell if it will be flowers or cones the earliest?

Usually hops are considered cone or flowers, depends on who's talking. For me, I bought rhizomes and mostly I get cones. On occasion I have had a flower or 2 but usually not. Let them grow and I'll bet u get cones if growing bought rhizomes

Cones are the flowers...which is what we want (females)...occasionally you might see a male dingleball , but only if the bine is stressed somehow. I had a CTZ the first year that was hermaphroditic.

My centennials have good cone development, my chinooks are just showing spurs.
@Granitebeard wherever spurs are appearing on the runners flowers should grow.

OK so i got rhizomes, so guess I should be good.

Most sites I see don't really show the spur/burr very well so guess that is what I am trying to figure out.

My cascade and chinook plants are LOADED. Cones full of lupulin already, starting to dry up a bit. I expect harvest this year will be early, if not within the next 2-3 weeks. About a month earlier than last year, if I recall.

The spurs look like Cthulhu's chin.

I would say that I will have cones soon then on that one.
