    I was very unsure of Solemn Oath Strange Old Woods so yesterday I went to Monks in downtown to try it on tap. I am really glad I did because this beer is amazing and really really good. I was pleasantly surprised and think it is one of the top tier NE styles in Chicago. Look is on point, body and mouthfeel are great on it, tons of fruit in the aroma and taste, bitterness on the backend. Now that it has hit stores I need to grab a four pack.

    Anyone know what distro footprint Strange Old Woods is on.....should hit most Binnys locations correct? Also available to go at the brewery I assume, 4 packs/growlers? Thanks

    Hah!
    Anyway, it might still be on tap at Monks if you are around the loop at all. It was a Solemn Oath tap takeover type thing there yesterday, but I hardly saw anyone in the place drinking the Strange Old Woods and it was packed so maybe it's still on?

    Any sightings of the Hop butcher beer today? I know someone said they were being canned today, but last time I found hop butcher it was in stores the day it was canned...
