Picked up Strange Old Woods at Binnys Grand this afternoon. $18.99. Strange b/c I thought it was $20 at the brewery...

Also grabbed a Slim Hazy from Mikerphone. They had SS Vic and Cats in the Cradle as well. Plenty of it too

Squeezeit OG is pretty damn good. For my taste this may edge out Radio Swan as my favorite from the area.

Tried both hop butchers - one in purple can was pretty good, reminded me of unwind your wind. Two flat was more standard ipa but enjoyable. I've started buying just singles of any hop buthcher at bottles and cans until they put out something stellar again.

Since I was talking shit, and have had a LOT of negative things to say about Hop Butcher lately, I must report that Skrap Metal (the purple can) is a definite step in the right direction. Grapefruit, cane sugar & dandelion dryness, without an OVERYLY yeast-y flavor (although that dandelion note is teetering on the edge). Overall much better than anything I've had from them since 2016.

$4.10 per can. Still some left as of 3pm today.

Open Bottle got both Two Flat and Skrap Metal in yesterday. I have some Skrap coming my way. Looking forward to it for sure.

I'm not trolling...have you actually tasted a dandelion before? Just wondering, as I have zero idea what a dandelion tastes like.

Dandelion greens taste earthy and have a slight bitterness to me.

I don't delve into greens, so I really was not aware that this is a thing. You guys eat some crazy shit.

Yes. I have tasted a dandelion. Sorta dry...mildly floral...a bit acidic.

I had never eaten dandelion greens until I moved downstate. Friends introduced me to them years ago. Some of their parents used to make dandelion wine too.
