Part of the is because Chessboxin' was only being sold in 32 oz growlers. Hardog was for sale in 32 and 64 oz growlers.

for the first week it was 32oz, last week and this week chessboxin' was/is on for 64oz fills. So still, it'll be on for fills for 3 weeks, that's a big change from "until about 8 on Friday"

I would imagine opening on a Thursday won't hit their beer as hard as opening on a Sunday, which is why they opened it up first. Love watching this brewery grow. They are releasing many good beers in many different styles.

Yeah, I am really happy with the beers they are putting out. Plenty of beers for the hop heads, but also a nice variety so it's not IPA overload.

Hopefully, eventually they can move into the 20-40bbl range and start canning more.

Really looking forward to trying the Nitro Stout. Don't think I'll be able to get over Saturday, but Gathering Clouds sounds like it should be good. I like that name too.

Reporting in. Whacking day is really solid. Even in the heat it's really drinkable. Hardog is really solid. Nice balance of sweet and bitter. Karate Pancakes is really good as well. Fluffy and sweet citrus. Like a creamsicle.

The line up this week is solid top to bottom. Had they cut off growler fill when you left.

What's the situation with canning at this place? I've never had any of their beers and only recently found out about them. Looking at Instagram I see only a couple posts about cans and nothing recently. Do they do it very infrequently?

They have only canned 3 times and when they do it's a very small amount. They don't even sell kegs to bars much. If you want to try Twin Elephant beer you pretty much have to there.

They're still getting up to speed with brewing. They're a VERY small operation and trying to catch up to demand. I know they opened last Thursday as a test run to see how they hold up. As @dennis3951 said, they have canned 3 times (Lil Shimmy Ye twice, Diamonds & Pearls once).

They are only 25 minutes away so maybe I'll stop in and see what's going on.

definitely worth checking out. They normally have a decent selection of beers on tap - not just hazy IPAs. Growler allotment can be iffy - also it's always 64oz per person max.

3 new DDH IPAs this week, one for Thursday, Friday, Saturday fills. The Friday one looks tasty and I love the hop combo on tonight's. I may have to try to get there.

Sounds like a good mix of new IPAs, and look forward to trying (and hopefully some of last weeks that I missed)... BTW, while I love all the hoppy stuff, I'm starting to miss the variety a little bit.. aside from Whacking Day, there hadn't been a dark beer on in a while... no sours, fruit or other adjuncts, etc... used to be a time 2 hoppy beers on at once was the norm, now its 4-5, and sometimes more (I'm lumping the hoppy wheats in here).

I guess part of it is brewing some of those kind of beers in 5 barrel batches may exceed the demand.

You will know that they are exceeding the demand when you can get more than 1 64 oz growler!

I feel the Same. Whacking Day was nice to see, and the reason I stopped by last week. Set the Vector is always nice to see on tap as well.

Mostly IPAs up on the board today except Set the Vector and Whacking Day.

Glad I got to grab some Gatherig Clouds. Super fluffy mouthfeel on this.

Crooked Spoke Adjacent is fantastic. Made me ignore Lil Shimmy Ye for a round.

gotta agree... I tried all 8 on tap on Saturday and Crooked Spoke was the winner for me, and I love Lil' Shimmy. I also thought Engage the Simulator was also very good. Great lineup this past weekend... bummed I missed Hardog.
