I've been there during a Saints game as well. Not hard to park. The meters have a two hour limit, and I don't think that's long enough for a Saints game.

Like I said - I didn't now what to expect when it came to parking. It stressed me out. I live in central MN, and am not used to the cities.

That all being said: I will be back there again, and will enjoy it a lot more now that I know what to expect. I can't wait to get back there again. Their beer is downright amazing.

My thoughts exactly. I've been to a lot of Twin Cities taprooms that either had significant parking, or I came via Uber/or on foot and it wasn't really anything I paid attention to. I can parallel park just fine (I've been driving for more of my life than most people); I just didn't expect to have to spend 10 minutes looking for free parking.

    And the beer rocked.

If you can find free parking within ten minutes of any taproom in either downtowns you are magic.

Did they say how they are handling those growlers in the future? Do you bring it in and they fill the one you have, or do you exchange your empty for a prefilled one and not have to pay a new glass charge?

They exchange it for the one you have. They pre-fill and are limited,

I wonder if you can just buy an empty one for $4? It's a nice piece of glass to use for other beer purposes.

I am hoping it becomes a regular weekend thing for growler fills but we will see what comes.

Was there Saturday afternoon. Got parking a block away at a meter. Did tasters of MPG and Tear Drops. I'm not a sour guy but man was MPG fantastic. The Tear Drops was pretty meh to me. I didn't much of anything out of it. Then had a 10oz of the Java Oats which was a really good coffee stout. Little thin maybe but overall good. Well worth a trip as I was in St. Paul anyways but being on the other side of the river, I don't see making a lot of trips over there.

Wife and I swung by yesterday around lunch. Place was pretty busy, awesome spot for sure. Bartenders were super cool and really helpful. We had a sample of everything and then one 10oz pour each. All the beers were good, although none were that mind blowing. I really wish people would stop calling beers NEIPAs. I understand it's a marketing thing but it's really gotta stop. Tear Drops tasted nothing like a beer I've ever drank in New England. It had tons of aroma but that's where it ended. Really thin and watery, lacking in depth of flavor. I thought Maverick was the most well crafted of the three hoppy beers. At 5.3% it had more body than Tear Drops actually but it lacked the aroma it needed. It was pretty balanced. Raining 3s was pretty decent. Not boozy at all, but again not totally dialed yet. (Funny, Other half released a Colab with The Answer in May with the same name) Both fruited Berliners were decent with MPG being the winner. The Coffee stout was well executed but a bit thin and dry for that much coffee flavor. All in all a great spot. Beers aren't totally dialed yet, not quite balanced to be considered top notch but I bet they get that figured out here soon. I would definitely go back next time in MSP area

I stopped by Barrel Theory about a week after returning from Boston, and thought their hazy IPAs were comparable to the stuff I drank out East.

Could not disagree with you more on this, just had 1/2 dozen or so NEIPA'S a couple weeks ago. Tear Drops and Rain Drops are right there.
