Would be funny and bring out much butt hurt if TH released a non-IPA today on National IPA Day:thinking_face:

You do realize that beer sold to customers is not a 1:1 ratio right? And that the ratio of max allotment per customers is variable?

Treehouse could have sold all that beer at two cases per person if they wanted and sold it faster and easier. Less customers, less transactions. Same amount of beer sold. But instead it was 12 cans per person, and then 6.

They went to 10 Julius after Haze sold out

Also Haze was confirmed as a 60 BBL batch. I wonder if they'd go to 4/8 limits on days like that instead of 6/6

Ok so how many people on the Facebook pages are moaning about why KJ was not released on National IPA day?

Agreed. I don't think they should even let people in to the lower parking lot before the 1 hour window. TH should close the front gate and have the police detail wave people on. If they stop or hang out in nearby business lots, give them a ticket. Maybe hire another police officer to patrol Rt 20, ticketing people on the side of the road. Check into local businesses and see if the owners are complaining about people parking without partaking. Be firm. This may need to happen for a few weeks or months, but eventually people will get the point. Word will travel once there are tickets involved.

It's just absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that people can control TH's hours. You can't please everybody with this solution, but it is the most fair. I'm sure there will be issues with the massive influx at T minus 1 hour, but would that be worse than a shitload of people clogging up the streets and lots for hours before open? I honestly don't know. I guess the only comparison point is Alchemist and I'm not sure they get as many people as TH so it may not be a valid comparison.

I still think TH needs more parking spaces either way.

I don't think businesses can pay police officers to issue tickets off their property. At least, I hope they can't...

They set a bad precedent in Monson. It got out of control and where they could have done something they didn't. The inmates run the asylum and they still won't do anything. It could be stopped in one day if there were any backbone there at all to stop it. It's a bad look.

Who is "they"? TH was forced to comply with opening early if the lots were full, let's not pretend like it was something they decided on a whim internally.

It was never like this until people discovered they'd open early if waves of people showed up early. Granted, people still showed up early, but they wouldn't open 2-3 hours early like they were doing in Monson.

Sure they did. Nut up, and make a move. You'll make some people mad out the gate but it fixes an issue and those people will get over it. There is always a choice. They chose to be passive.

Ok, ok, ya got me. It would it have been fitting for sure but I think some have come to expect something like that. Heck i think a few folks are bent that they have not had a silent since they opened the new place and in the minds of those upset by the lack of a silent, this would be the best excuse to have one.

I don't know the law on this. I do know that it is technically illegal to stop on the side of the highway unless it is an emergency. Hell, you can even get a ticket for running out of gas on the highway because you're basically an endangering dumbass in the eyes of the law. Whether the police officer is being paid by a business or not, it's still an illegal and ticket-able offense, right?

At 6pm lower lot empty, upper lot no attendants present or necessary. Walked in, line was in the building, out in 3 minutes w 12 of their best beer. So far I've been to Charlton twice, both times after work, got the full boat for the day and was home by 7pm.
