Thanks! I couldn't find it clearly stated in emails, but assumed it was the case. I didn't buy enough Del Norte, and want to recitfy that this time.

    Cheers

Had a glass of "The World is Yours" was nice and all but I think El Camino was a lot better

I do! Founding member so I've had a lot of what they have to offer, no IPA's though. Really looking forward to trying out the entire board!

Nice - just joined the membership this year, but haven't had anything I didn't like immensely. The IPAs are solid and I feel they will only continue to improve.

Casa Agria Announces Major Expansion | VCTapped

"Casa Agria Specialty Ales (CASA) has announced a major 8,600 square foot expansion to their existing 5,400 square foot facilities located off Del Norte Boulevard in Oxnard. This expansion will include new brewing equipment, a new tasting room, a kitchen, and the capability to have guest taps. Once complete — some time in 2018 — this expansion will make CASA one of the largest breweries in Ventura County."

Glad they're growing as it seems some brewery is going to have to take the Bruery's place in my heart. Fortunately CASA does better sours and better IPAs than the Bruery does already!

I'm super excited for this de Garden collab. It's kind of a bummer how quickly the turnaround for the release is for out of town people, like myself, who would attend with a little more notice.

I see CASA will be sending membership info for 2018 soon.

Thoughts on those that have a membership 2017? Pro's and con's?
    Are you returning for 2018?

Yes, and will definitely return as member.

The pros are that I love their beer, they allow can pre-sales to members and will hold them in cold storage until I pick up. I usually pick up on release day or close to it but it allows me to pick up all my bottles at the same time. The 10% discount is a cool perk too.

Not sure there were any cons aside from the system they used to handle member sales which they are replacing for next year. They are also changing up the membership for next year based on member feedback from this year - no growler, more beer and merch sales via the member site.

Returning for sure. The ipas and the ability to pre order cans and not stand in a line or do an eventbrite race is the best part for me.

That is true, avoiding lines & instant sellouts on eventbrite is huge.

What's the limit of ipa's for members?

Is it the same as the limit from the public sale?

Yes, I'll be signing up for my 3rd year - producing some of my favorite sours (the IPAs I've tried at the brewery have all been solid, although I haven't tried any of the cans) and great customer service.

It's usually 3 4-packs, public sale has lower limits.

It has been 3x 4-packs so far for members. You can also show up to public release to buy more.

I've only managed to get 1 public release can - Del Norte, I think - and it was 2pp if I recall correctly. The last release was made public on a Wednesday (8/2) and sold out in like an hour or something.

Been interested in them for awhile, but they are too far. Any indication of California shipping for online beer sales?

They already ship bottles within CA, just not cans. Think they are looking at options to ship cans within CA for this next year.

Also, they allow proxies to pick up beer - the members group on FB (run by Casa) is super friendly and you can always find someone willing to ship. Tons of people from out of state have their bottles and cans shipped by one of us that can make it regularly or semi-regularly.
