I went to a Morning Delight tasting

The Delight was just phenomenal as expected. I was super stoked for the Supa and left thinking the Dragon stole the show.

I hope we get bottle opportunities in the future.

    Dragon tasted like V8 Splash.....seriously.

ALOT of fruit and very little, if any, tartness.

Can I get that v8 in a 12 oz bottle form dipped in wax and a limited edition sippy cup?

People you talked to said it wasn't as good as previous batches??? That's interesting. Most people I had talked to said the opposite. I've had b2-4, and b3 was definitely the weakest of them by far. I can see some people maybe liking b2 a little more maybe but I think they're about even or b4 might even be a little better. There could be some variance among this one though because they had to brew more than one batch to get all the 8,000 bottles. I know one of my friends had it two times that day and said his first pour was a bit different from the pour he got later.

I thought the exact same thing. If I had tasted it blind I would have definitely thought this batch of MD was barrel aged. Honestly I got a lot more coffee and oak than maple flavor. Maple was more prominent in the aroma but the coffee and barrel character were the predominant flavors IMO.

I thought the maple really shone through at the end. Hit up front with Coffee, tail ended with sweetness of Maple

I thought the pour I got at the brewery was a little different than the pour I had at Mabes. Brewery pour was more maple forward and sweeter. Mabes pour had more coffee to balance out the maple. Could have just been a difference in serving temp though . Along with the fact that the brewery MD pour was already out on the table, plus it was a smaller pour, could have made the temp difference much higher than what I got at Mabes.

Also, one more thing. I have been critical of Mabe's pizza in the past on here, but I will be damned if that breakfast pizza i got (eggs, potato, bacon, sausage, jalapeno) wasn't one of the damn pizzas I ever had. Could have been the fact that I was up at 2am to make the drive for our 8am start time, but man that hit the spot.

It was really good. A pleasant surprise given the MD and Supa hype

Will I don't think it tasted like V8 splash, I quite enjoyed it honestly. I was drinking it next to BT MPG as well, which is also great.

The dragon fandango was very refreshing especially after waiting 4 hours in the sun. Lots of tropical fruit flavors and slightly sour. Definitely crushable. I hope they bottle it at some point. I get the feeling BT's Draco will be very similar.

Hi everyone quick question. Does TG put bottle dates on their bombers? I picked up a King Sue recently and just looked at bottle and it has N26 01 17 etched in to it near the bottom. Is this bottle date? Thanks in advance for the info as I haven't had much experience with TG bombers.

The date will be on the neck. It can be really hard to see with the color ink that they use.

Anyone know if the Double Dry Hopped Sue bombers they tweeted about being at the Taproom last Friday will be making it out to distro?

Probably. Someone on Twitter asked if it would hit Des Moines and Clark said, "Should hit Distro if all goes as planned"
