Looks like they'll also be getting some more 5bbl tanks in the future as well.

I guess they over estimated, Instagram says 25 cases.

My couple beer math says that's 150 allotments... Good luck.

I suspect that there was some sort of issue or they only canned ~half the batch. It was supposed to be 40+ cases

Yeah, maybe there was a time constraint? Instead of waiting for next week they just drop half today while it's at the freshest and keg the rest.

Hopefully nothing went wrong with the process or beer.

Here now. There was a little bit of a line, but no issue with anyone getting any. Still more cases left.

Finally getting to try Coffin Nails. This shit is Fantastic

Line moved quick. Cans, growler, and a teku and I was out in 10 minutes.

Line must have started fairly early. 25-30 people by 11:45

I just left, no wait at all. Doubt the cans will make it until 2 o'clock. It seems like no one is leaving without a 4 pack.

got mine... nice eclectic mix of drafts this afternoon, though hop heads may have been disappointed. The Daiye spa was super interesting... really nailed the cucumber mint flavors, pretty refreshing. the what a hitter peach was decent, but peach was more subtle. Whammy is always good. Stylish violence was good, nice coffee hit - but like the coffin nails, I think the adjuncts (coffee in this case) muted out the hops, so really doesn't come across as an IPA, but it was tasty. Finally got around to having table legs with honey and hibiscus - another good warm weather brew.

Sweet, Sunday hours! Wish I was around. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing some more Sunday's open every now and again in the future.

Not a bad thing with football in two weeks too.

Fwiw, this was a "last minute" decision. I wouldn't put too much stock in them being consistently open every Sunday.

Though, perhaps they stop Thursday hours in favor of Sunday in the fall?

I wouldn't argue that. Help lessen the blow that is being a Jets fan. :O

I wouldn't be surprised if they were testing the waters for a Thu - Sun opening to see how it goes. That or trying to get some of the beers off the list to add some new ones this week.

They're clealry testing the waters by opening on Thursday and now a Sunday. They want to be open more often, they just don't want to be open with few choices for pours. That's been the struggle the whole time, but the new kettle is making a huge difference in that regard already. Glad for them.

I still think a 5bbl hot side is not going to get them through 4 days in the fall/winter, you would see a lot of those pink asterisks come Sunday, forsure. The summer beach weather definitely slows down the crowd a little bit. Remember, 2bbl could barely get them through Friday/Saturdays, especially their hoppy beers.

Is there a production ceiling at their current location? Can they go to a 10bbl brew house with 15-20bbl tanks - or is there just not space for that?

There's not room in the space for that. They can do great with their new system. They can brew twice and get as much beer as five brews on the old system. They still are in the process of swapping out fermenters and look how much more beer they've been pumping out. They've had more beers available for growlers and more beers on tap. Even the can run got bigger. I would imagine they hope to be open Thurs-Sun on the regular once they complete their fermenter upgrades. In the meantime, they can do some fun stuff right now with a 5 BBL kettle and the 2 BBL fermenters by taking one wort and doing 3 separate recipes on the cold side.
