NCAA 2017 Football Pick 'Em

No, you are not locked in to whatever the spread is on the day you choose, the final spread will be the one used for everyone.

Yes, I have it set up to where you can choose up to 5 mins before every games kick off time listed on the yahoo spread page. Like me, you can change your mind 100 times as long as its 5 mins prior to the time listed.

 

I believe the deal was the first "real" weekend, in other words Week 1, not week 0 which was last weekend. I'm too lazy to check though, just a few more days.

 

More than enough, think we're only up to 14 or so. Would love to have anyone else interested, time is running out.

Welcome back lady (you know who you are) and gentlemen! Looks like we only have one or two newcomers. I was hoping for and surprised we didn't get new people in addition to the vets but it's always great to see the same guys back. If there are any questions feel free to put them here in case I don't respond immediately, someone else may be able to help. Also, if you put any questions in the thread be sure to tag me so I can try to help. I'll post the final payouts in the main thread but most likely it will be where we sit now, 17 people with 14 shipping. If we get one more person I'll add an extra box to 3rd place.

Lots of games this week, 25 total! There are TWO GAMES THIS FRIDAY so be sure to get those in ASAP or make a reminder. I don't know if I set it up or if you can guys can set it up yourself to get an email reminder a couple days in advance. I'll try to send out reminders for any early games but don't hold me to it. Week 1 is pretty wild since it's hard to predict how teams will be. Let the madness and shit talking begin. GL!

I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say I'd want Johnyb or Turfy to beat you but there's plenty of other vets here, including myself, that have paid our dues and shipped plenty of boxes from being at the bottom that may have something to say about that.

That's a brutal but fair question John. I think I was near dead last last year so I think I can only go up. Someone even forgot to pick an entire week and still beat me IIRC. Up, up and up!

So the dumbasses at Yahoo have already messed up 2 point spreads. The Alabama/FSU game and South Carolina/N C State game have the wrong team favored. If this isn't fixed by Friday evening I'll have to disqualify both games.

F'in morons, I'm not surprised and it may be the last year I use Yahoo. If any of you can figure out how to email them and let them know (like anything would even be done about it) please do, I couldn't find an email address yet.

This is the actual "warning" so be sure to check back Fri night and realize that if the proper team isn't favored it won't count. I'll try to send out 2 different pms tomorrow with the same info but may not be able to since I'll be at work.
