But I'm a never say never guy too...I had Phin and Matt's from ST and thought it was the worst ever...tried it again 2 years later b/c I thought there was no way it could be as bad and it was better...may have been bad lines at the pub.

Agree with a lot of the beers I've read here, but the one I'm not seeing is Widmer Brothers Citra Blonde. That cat urine finish it has isn't for me.

Funny, I've had a lot of these, and I think DFH is also getting the short end of the stick. There's some definite dislike for sweeter beers on this site, but I enjoy a lot of them. To each their own palates though! Mine would be a rauchbier (can't remember what brand) that I had last month. My friends also had some RR that we could have tried, but they really wanted the rauchbier and raved about it. All I could taste was liquid smoke with a hint of burnt meat. I tried to finish it to be polite, but even my six ounce pour was too much. Apparently it was one of the best in its style, which doesn't get me too excited to try any others. At least I didn't pay for it...

My first drain pour was last night. I generally can muster through a beer but this I could not. Shiner Black Lager. I don't get it. It just tasted like a moldy lager.

Would be easier just to list the beers I tried and WOULD drink again.

I agree with everyone that posted Dogfish Head Tweasonale. That is the worst beer I've ever had. Usually enjoy all the other Dogfish Head.

The '94 still gives me nightmares. The bottle was cool as all get out though.

    Friendship Brew. Yeesh.

Green Flash, I like you guys, and I'm a-ok with St. Feuillen, but if I wanted to drink cherry cough syrup mixed with band-aids again, I'd just raid my medicine cabinet and cut out the middle man.

Maisel's Weisse Hefeweizen. Tasted so damn sour. Whenever I pass by it in the stores it puts me off from drinking a hefeweizen.
