    You're not crazy ;-) While one of our anticipated 2017 releases doesn't have a day of the week in its name, we do fold some special flavors into stouts from our favorite day of the week for it...

    From today's email about Barrel Aged Beer Day next month:

    "Leading up to the big day, we'll have two special pre-public releases for our Society members: Bruers’ Barrel-Aged Blend: Zesty Mounds and Barrel-Aged Share This."

    If anyone is in or near Sacramento today. Cap tap room is pouring 2011 smoking wood, chocolate rain, share this OC, guava libre, saule, wanderer, griffon bruxellois, the traveling plum and sans pagaie. Patrick will be stopping by at 5:00. The hop shop is also pouring grey Monday, ruminator, 2014 melange 3, befuddlement, and others. Patrick will be there at 7:00

It's the winner of our employee blending tournament, designed to be a liquid manifestation of the flavors you’d find in a chocolate-covered coconut bar with orange zest - created specifically for Barrel-Aged Beer Day this year.

    Orange zest? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Half the time the coconut beers barely have coconut flavor and now it's masked by orange. I want to meet these blenders and ask which 99 cent store are they finding these type of chocolate candies. :angry:
