I haven't actually seen those ones yet, just thinking out loud.

    What's this about a $30 crowler credit I'm seeing?

Check for the renewal reminder e-mail dated Friday September 29th, Subject: Don't miss this window and opportunity!
But to cut to the chase it says this in part:

    375-ml. BOTTLES

We said it was a possibility. As early as next month, it will start becoming a reality. We'll be rolling out 375-ml. bottles of select brands from Bruery Terreux, including releases from several Foeders with Friends collaborations, our new Orchard Project series, a new Frucht installment and one of our favorite oak-aged, blended, fruited sour beers.

On The Bruery side, we expect to begin the year packaging the majority of beers in 750-ml. bottles, but we have our eye on introducing more in a smaller size bottle format as the year gets underway. Whatever the case, the volume of included beer with your 2018 Society membership will be the same or greater than if it were packaged in 750-ml. bottles.

    Cheers

I'm excited about the crowler options and the smaller bottle format, but I had voted for and hoped to see 500 ML bottles. I feel like that's the perfect size for almost any beer (scan share of solo) but still happy to see it moving to a smaller format!

I got that too. Looks like maybe if you waited too long to renew, you get enticed with the $30 credit. I renewed my HS membership yesterday - so should get the crowler fill credit. I had planned on doing it all along but no sense spending the $ before I had to.

I sure hope everyone is getting that credit. I got the email but I had already renewed.

Wait, what? What makes anyone think ONLY the people who renewed at the last minute are getting a credit?

I renewed for the Reserve Society - looks like an awesome lineup for next year, and the credit + new bottle format is awesome. I only see this getting better.

I'm pretty sure everyone will get it. Would not make sense if only the people who waited till the end got a bonus, where as those who paid earlier, got nothing.

I think it just meant for people who wait till past the deadline. It's possible someone won't renew this month, and reconsider next month when it's open to the public. That person won't get the bonus.

    That's what I understood.

Renewed Hoarders, put down money on new membership (thankfully splitting) and sent out rent in under 24hrs. Time to live off of beer, beans, and rice for a while. =P

If you really want to be broke you can also buy a DC HS membership. I'm sure they'd catch that and I have no idea why somebody would want to do such a thing.

I'm not sure why anyone needs a smaller bottle from Terruex. It's the high ABV Bruery stouts, barleywines and strong ales that need smaller packaging. IMO

Friendly counterpoint: The high ABV bottles @ 750ml are perfect to split with a friend or two, which is most often how I consume them. Sours I prefer drink myself, but often I’ll reach for a 500ml HPB or a 375 Russian River before the 750ml Burery option.

That said, I’m sure if this venture is successful we’ll see a full run of smaller bottle options across both brands.

Souren is one of my all time faves. Still have quite a few.

Why would you put any BT in the fridge? Room temp or nothing.

Stopped by the tasting room yesterday.

Has anyone had Frucht: Mango/Raspberry ? Super fruity, mild tart - surprisingly b/c of raspberry. Easily one of my favorites of that series, bottle or crowler that ASAP!

SHiT w/coffee : Enjoyed it very much, the coffee wasn't overpowering. Which is a good thing for me, though I might be in the minority.

One way or another - WHOA ! Super sour/tart, those lemons! Too much for me.

And that 10 year IPA.... Definitely, would buy cans of 10year! I hope they keep it coming.
