Good evening BA, hope everyone had a good Tuesday. Another semi busy work day. Had a morning meeting, and finished up the presentation I started yesterday. Minimal e-mails again today. I think most people are too busy at the assembly plant with the second pilot build. All the data I need for my job comes straight from the plant every day.

    Today's reviews:

Delicious Pale lager. Just passed the best by date(1 year after bottling). Great head retention and lacing down the glass. Aromas and flavors of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit malts; with some herbal, grassy, light peppery noble hops. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and moderately crisp/clean/refreshing finish. Bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness. Perfectly clean lagering, never yeasty. Was a big fan on this, very flavorful for 4.7%. Clean pils malts with balancing earthy noble hop flavors. Very spot on stuff. Would gladly drink this again. I know it's listed as a German pilsner on BA, but it's simply just not bitter or drying enough to fit. Completely spot on as an all malt Pale Lager. More hoppy than most imports, though. 3.88

Fantastic hefeweizen! Amazing lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing down the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, pear, and apple yeast; with balanced wheat, white bread dough, biscuity malts; some herbal, grassy, light peppery noble hops; and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang/tartness on the finish,. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with insane bready/silky/pillowy wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Slight hop stickiness and dryness. Very flavorful and refreshing, 5.3%. Damn, one of the best American made hefe's I've ever had for sure. Perfectly balanced yeast/malt flavors; with an insanely smooth, rich, and creamy mouthfeel. This brewery continues to surprise and impress me every time. 4.23

This was amazing! Insane lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, black cherries, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, almond, and dark bread; with light touches of smoke, char, raisins/dark fruit, and herbal hops. Light roast/char bitterness, bourbon/oak spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and full bodied; with an amazing creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Light hops stickiness, chalky roast, oak tannins, and cherry tang/acidity. Slightly increasing bitter/roasted and tangy/tannic fruit dryness. No acrid roast, hop/fruit astringency, or cloying. Absolutely fucking perfectly balanced between porter, cherries, and barrels. Super smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 11.3%, zero barrel booze. Holy crap I am buying out the corner store tomorrow. This is absolutely insane. I love the base beer, but it usually feels too bitter when fresh and smooths out over time. This is perfect right out of the gate. Plenty of barrel presence without the booze. 4.38

Funny you mention that @PatrickCT . Paulaner Weisen was never my jam, but seemed extra delicious this year. As a matter of fact, I'll think I'll enjoy my last right now and join you in the passing of the great festivity for the year. Prost!

Seems your are the first to understand the oyster legend. I like oysters any style (mostly steamed) but have had the Rockefeller and was never disappointed.

I went a little outside of my comfort zone on this one, I went with the brewery and the main brewer on this one, I gotta admit, this is pretty good. Juicy, a little tart, nice feel...pretty good.
