Yeah they ran out of CCB caps I asked when I picked my round up. It appeared LiL was the one to have the CCB cap from this round

That count for the cognac Zhukov bottles? Got one in a trade on a recent trip to Tampa and it has a silver cap.

Yeah confirmed they ran out of the Ccb caps and didn't want to delay bottling at the time

Late to the party but they have been using silver, black and CCB caps lately, so don't freak if you get one that is different from others.

The cases of El Cat bottles have mixed caps amidst a single case too, just FYI.

Has anyone been to a Garagiste release?

I saw that they count the line before the release to set limits. What time do you have to be there by? The brewery this Saturday opens at 10 for pours and noon for the release. I was planning on getting there before 10, figuring they wouldn't be counting the line before then.

he usually counts 15 minutes or so before the release time. if you're there before then, you'll be a-ok! bring cash!!

I've been to every one of them. As long as there are more than 350 bottles and 2pp, you should be fine to get there around 10-11. Usually 80-120 people in line by the time the sale starts. Cherry pie I think sold out in line, but people got back in line, so not really sold out in line. I may be wrong about that, I'm usually part of the first 10 people though.

I saw they had 3L bottles. Is that the standard release, or is it the 375ml bottle? Or do they have both available?

Sometimes you can find someone with one they don't want or are selling. The owners don't always want to buy a magnum.

Chad said they only fill the big bottles to order. So unless an owners member buy one then puts on the market you want see them in the wild. I think they run $200 or more cost at the Meadery.

    Howdy gang!

Only three days away from the Reboog Vitis release on Saturday. The mead is in bottles and we’re thrilled with how the batch has turned out. We can’t wait to share it with you.

To that end, as things reach a fever pitch l do want to take a moment to speak about a situation that we saw at our last release.

As many of you know, our business is located in an area near a homeless shelter. It’s apparent that some persons are paying the local homeless to act as mules.

Beyond the fundamental notion that they exploiting these people, it makes our other customers uncomfortable and is disrespectful of our business and goes against our values. We will not tolerate it.

To be clear, we have a pretty strong idea who the perpetrators are and this message doesn’t impact 99% of you. We reserve the right to deny sales to anyone we believe is involved in such antics should they occur on Saturday.

Does this include Grandmules like they have at the Cycle releases?

Exactly, if they don't want it and I do, they request it and sell it to me.

Yeah that is a fun post and the guy that he "called out" even posted saying he doesn't do that which he does. It's hilarious
