    Yeah, the Mofo and Even Mo (got a 4 of this too) still being available was a nice surprise too. I have a soccer game later so I'm gonna try the Citra one in a little bit (not gonna get nuts before I play) and the galaxy afterward.

    I didn't get there until about 11, they started selling cans at 10. My gut said it wouldn't be bad, and my gut was right.

    Haven't been to a release in a while, but going to try to make it out for this one. For those who have been recently, has Sand City continued the policy of ensuring that everyone who is in line by the stated open time gets at least a 4-pack of each beer? As someone coming from a distance who can't necessarily arrive super early, this is something I've always appreciated about them vs. their NY brewery brethren--that is, that I can be sure I won't get shut out as long as I'm there at open.

    Congrats to these guys. They make great beer and love the way they run the brewery. I was able to hit tap room today for cans of Soup Galaxy, really good for a one hop beer. Citra version very bright and tasty.

    I was there earlier too from 12:15 to 12:45 and got a 4-pack of each of the soups. The galaxy is fantastic.

    Also had a grandpa slice from Le Port Pizza across the street. It was pretty damn good. It was no grandpa from Bleeker St but still very well done.

    I guess each one of us should have been more social :slight_smile:! That is when I was there ! I was standing in middle of the bar with green shorts, grey shirt and grey and white hat. Were you next to me or 2 away from me? i talked to guy next to me, dont think that was you though.

    Haha go figure. I had my red work shirt and my makeshift mustache (shaved my epic mustache off for charity last weekend). Next time I'll pay more attention!

    My assessment so far: Galaxy > Citra (by an extremely small margin) > Amarillo

    SC does amazing work with Galaxy

    Indeed…Citra is one of the best representations of a single hop in recent memory + Galaxy is ridiculously dank, floral, sticky with a bit of that hop spice kick…Soup De Jour Variants > One Variants
