Wait so I just signed up for the Preservation Society, it includes Black Tuesday? I was going to buy bottles...

Yes, one bottle is included in the Fourth Quarter Preservation Society package. You have access to purchase up to 6 more bottles - guaranteed through Saturday, October 21.

I should have further specified - Preservation Society members in the CA club have access to those six additional bottles through Saturday, October 21. We are not shipping / fulfilling any 2017 Society orders at the DC store in 2017. But, if Preservation Society members in the DC club would like to get additional bottles of Black Tuesday for pickup at the DC store, they can be purchased during the public release on October 24 (just select DC pickup at checkout).

Hmmm, I saw there was an option to order bottles for DC pickup on the site so I ordered 2... Can I not pick them up?

So, and I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered, but we can't select the option to pick up bottles in dc not a part of the three from the preservation society? Just joined, looking forward to it regardless! Cheers!

apart from the confusing membership Beer picking up part, is this going to be a sit down spot where we can drink Bruery beers. I.e a beer bar with solely Bruery selection and Bruery inspired food or BYOF. I.e the spot next to you is a major lunch spot, ALitteries.

If not, I beg you to do so, because it will become successful and you will become richer. Also you can build a rooftop area for the sitting and beer drinking.

To thank me for the idea, just have Oude Tart on tap everyday.

That's correct. You'll get a 5% discount on additional bottles purchased in store. If you'd like to get access to additional allocations to purchase for pickup in Washington, D.C., the Reserve Society is the way to go. Public enrollment begins at 1:00 p.m. ET today at TheBrueryStore.com.

I'll be in the DC area the week of Nov 13th. As of now I see that if you order Black Tuesday it would be scheduled to arrive for pick up on or around the 14th. Of course you have to have Preservation Society to do any pickups at all. Is it worth it to spend $59 for a one time pickup of Black Tuesday (since I live nowhere close to DC)? Can I pick up the bottles that come with membership at the same time? (A bourbon barrel-aged beer from The Bruery, a fruited sour barrel-aged beer from Bruery Terreux, and a limited, experimental beer). Can the bourbon barrel-aged beer be a bottle of Black Tuesday or do I not get to pick?

Sorry for all of the questions.

The Preservation Fourth Quarter Package, with the three included beers, will be ready for pickup in early January 2018 and available to pick up through March 31.

Bottles purchased of Black Tuesday during the October 24 sale with DC pickup will be ready for pickup on/around November 14 through January 31, 2018.

Is Black Tuesday really that difficult to come by? I have a bottle sitting in my basement that I'm sure must have come from a Total Wine or Whole Foods in the VA burbs. And though it was probably overpriced, no way was it anywhere near $59.

Black Tuesday retails for $29.99. It is not distributed. The $59 item I believe you're looking at is the Fourth Quarter Preservation Society package, which will include a bottle of Black Tuesday, a to-be-announced barrel-aged sour ale and a to-be-announced beer from The Bruery.

My apologies. It seems likely that So Happens It's Tuesday is the beer sitting in my cellar.

Ok so I DO NOT need the The Preservation Fourth Quarter Package to get the pickup for Black Tuesday that goes on sale on Oct 24th correct?

Correct. That sale is first-come, first-served. The bottle in the Preservation Society Fourth Quarter Package is guaranteed with membership.

If I order Black Tuesday during the Oct 24th public sale and I'm signed up for the 2018 DC Reservation Society, how long do I have to pick up the Black Tuesday Bottles? Do I have until Feb 28, 2019 or do I have to pick up within 30 days of shipment to DC? Thanks!
