No announcement from Short's yet. We're supposed to get Bloody Beer first if they stick to the release schedule, so I'd guess Sticky will be more towards the end of the month.

On the other hand, Autumn Ale is on its way out (boooooooo-urns. IMO, Autumn is the best seasonal alongside Good Humans). Double Magician will be the next seasonal up to take us through the end of the year.

Sticky will be early Nov, I'm imagining. Was pushed back a week.

Hey Sean, just curious. Why did Short's create two new ales as year-round keg releases instead of dipping into the portfolio?

Pleasantly surprised to find bottles of both Fun Tina and Dr. Thrillride at my local shop today.

To assist with collaborating with a cool Detroit company and competing with popular styles in the market.

For the Grand Rapids folks, we have an event at 7 Monks tonight which looks cool. The Woodmaster and New Style (dry hopped pilsner) are among the featured brews. New Style, by the way, is absolutely fantasic- one of the best beers we've made this year in my opinion. Only at 7 Monks locations.

Drank one at the pub in Bellaire a few weeks ago and brought home a crowler. It really is great!

And on the bottles to go list, so it can't be too far off in distro...

This is only one of two of the original 07' imperial series beers I didn't buy/try, because quite honestly at the time it sounded nasty. I'll have to grab a single this time though...for science.

I've had a few bloody mary style beers and most have been disappointments. When I had Bloody Beer a few years back, I was amazed at how well it worked. Not something I could drink regularly, but it was by far the best attempt I've had and highly enjoyable.

Website is a bit of a tease right now, there is a link that says click here for 2018 release schedule. But it doesn't pull it up. Hose teasers!

Lol, sounds like a Bob and Doug McKenzie insult. I've been looking for the schedule to pop up, it's about that time for the schedule and Fan's Choice.

    Anybody got a wish list?

Just tried a Gary Juicy.... Wow what a mess. Wondering why Short's has such a hard time with hazy ipa's?

Hmm, I thought Gary Juicy was just fine. Not as good as Slurm Lord, or even hazy controversial, but plenty drinkable. That being said, I am not a fan of most of the hazy Michigan IPAs that everyone else goes gogo-gaga for. So maybe I just don't like the style? But anyways, my 3 Gary Juicys from the mix pack went down easy with nothing resembling a mess.

While I haven't drank much Gary, I thoroughly enjoy Hazy Contro.

...and while I'm pushing my luck, how bout quarterly releases of PCG?
(If either of those happen and its "Michigan only", I'm gonna lose my shit! :stuck_out_tongue:)
