Laziness or a political stance?

That's definitely not what he said/wrote; but I see what you're saying, he used the wrong word(s) attempting to convey a different message that what he actually said. . .which is even more unsettling now that you point it out, in that he called someone else lazy, but can't even take the time to express his own thoughts accurately.

You're 100% correct on whether this regulation is logical or green. But if you want a constructive forum, you probably shouldn't call people lazy when they take the time to answer the question you pose.

Thanks @beerandraiderfan for the feedback. I agree that I could have taken more time in constructing my argument, but my intention was in line with what @jmgrub deciphered. Frankly, I just wanted to post the idea before it slipped away from me and I genuinely did not have time to fully develop the idea. The use of the word lazy was more in the interest of sparking discussion, it seems clear to me that Stone is not lazy, I apologize if I did not make that clear. I also do not believe that there are only 2 reasons ((1) lazy or (2) political protest) that a Stone growler from Pasadena does not say Pasadena on it.

I don't recall calling anyone lazy for taking the time to post, apologies if something I said made you feel that way. Does this help in making this a constructive forum, or is there something else I need to address?

My use of the word hearsay was not in the strict legal sense, it was more a layman's interpretation. My intention was as @jmgrub implied. I honestly can't believe this could be misunderstood based on my initial post, but I hope this makes my intention more transparent. Thanks @jmgrub for the help.

I see what you are saying. I was referring to the original post, not the person posting (i.e. Does @jtmartino believe Stone errs on the side of laziness?). Also, there should have been a question mark on the end there. Does that help clarify going forward?

@jtmartino, sorry for the confusion, I hope you didn't think I was calling you lazy.

I'm not trying to be grammar cop here, but just using the proper words would go far here in assisting in communication.

"You" generally denotes you are talking to/about a person, not a business entity (especially when replying to a person in the context of the commentary).

Also, in terms of referring to the original post, that was yourself, and you didn't reply to yourself, you replied to someone else.

Finally, posing a legal question, then using legal terminology, but then saying you don't know how your commentary could be misconstrued as legal terminology. . . facepalm.

It's all good. I'm not sure that Stone can be considered a "lazy" company, but they are well-known as a profitable one.

The fact that someone working at a brewery already commented elsewhere in the forums that growlers are profitable is enough evidence we need. You were on that thread.

And Stone probably turns more profit than most breweries, since they have more foot traffic than most breweries.

I am trying to acknowledge your comments and correct the course of the thread, I hope you can see that. I agree that I am not perfect with grammar or legal concepts and I thank you for helping me make that clear. Obviously, I am a Russian submarine captain, not a lawyer. Honestly, after the reading back the thread, your last post comes off as a bit antagonistic, especially the facepalm.

@jtmartino, I have been on BA for a little while, but I am just starting to get into the forums. Is there a good/easy way to find the thread you mentioned? Thanks.

    Obviously? "Privet!"

Look man, its all good, was just pointing out some communication issues. You certainly are better at speaking in two languages (or more) than I am. Had I known your background, I certainly would have cut you some slack. My apologies in that regard.

I'm a huge fan of Russian culture and history, my girlfriend in law school and beyond is Russian (and also has since relocated to LA), you guys have a badass wrestling/fighting program, beautiful women, I'm a big fan of Avangard Omsk, I collect a bunch of other Russian hockey jerseys (so superior to NHL jerseys, and great for skiing in), I'm really big on Russian military airplanes (not so much naval).

Cheers my friend! Ya tebia lublu ruskies.

i work at a brewery. i see how many people buy growlers and how many people come back to fill them. and stone probably makes more money in growler sales than some breweries because they have a lot of out of town vistors. AND because of california growler laws since those people cant just bring their own

but for a regular brewery, glass isn't making or breaking the business.
