This is 6 weeks old now, and, wow...still an amazing DIPA. Lots of berry, so smooth, great color. Other Half rarely let's down.

I know, I know, doesn't that asshole eat anything besides salad?? Why yes, it was pulled pork, beans and corn on the cob with sweet tea for lunch. But since my "up since 0400" wife made it, I'll proudly show it. We're both pumped since the Hurricanes held on the beat the Orangemen.
I'll be back without lettuce in the next picture....

Not many beers that I felt like I needed to try. However, this one was a must try. Great beer that is so incredibly smooth for a 10% abv beer. Lots of dark fruit. Rated it a 4.79...

Thought I'd bring some HUB home with me. Their flagship IPA, revised and repackaged.

Last pour of this, just an incredible Flanders. I thought it was aged in wine barrels the bottle says rum and bourbon and as it warms you can taste it. Fantastic!

Working on a potential trip to Denver this week to see Bell Witch/Primitive man on Wednesday and Blind Melon on Friday. $46 round trip airplane tickets. Seems too good to be true. Going to need to get the boss's permission to get Thursday off though for the trip to come to fruition.

Granted bottle say’s drink fresh; however, this particular BA coffee stout aged beautifully.

Market is becoming more saturated with overly cloying, gimmicky…one-dimensional perspectives. This here was a nice contrast; European flair with a dry roasted backbone. Nose is jam-packed with subtle workings; notes of coffee, milk chocolate, grapes, cherry/dark fruit, cream(y) espresso, vanilla, liquorish, leather, crystallized malt, toffee + the definitive barrel character. Nothing takes precedence, as everything is calculated with a balanced spectrum, a sophisticated carbonation, beautiful feel, appropriate bitterness...
