Swung by the place closest to my house & Black Note was gone in under two hours mid-day. Maybe it will stick at other places with larger allotments, but having to leave work in order to get a beer doesn't scream "easy to get" at me. That better?

 

No not better. Deliveries will be made all week for Black Note , all of the above brews(previous post) are relatively easy to obtain. You are a whiner and you "scream " and why did you leave work early? Is that better, do you understand?

Its a bad stretch for the wallet for sure . These next 2 weeks thru January really.

 

Grabbed 4pk note earlier, if I can score a couple noirs and DSDB and I’ll be good... I think

 

North Loop Wine and Spirits still had Black Note as of 6pm. 2 bottle limit.

 

Is black note limited to a bottle or two limit there? Love that beer

 

Whoa, unless things have drastically changed for these beers from last year, they still take some effort. I know I went to several stores and struck out on most of them in the past. Yes, by running around I was able to obtain some.

I'm not trying to whine, just saying it's a bit of work (or has been).

 

No drastic change, with some effort you should be able to get BN, look at above posts.

 

They are doing 2 per... they had about a half a case left at 430 when I was there.... that store tends to get overlooked for beer hunters things tend to sit there longer than most places so they could still have it worth a check if your in the area

 

TW Woodbury has quite a bit of Black Note. One 4-pack limit, $23.99. They also had BA Ten.

 

People, we have prepared all year for this. More prepared than every before. We have:

1. Speculated & mapped distributor routes

2. Completed numerous test time trials
3. Slowly socked cash away throughout the year from the wives
4. Build rapport with our local bottle shops...and a few a bit farther away
5. Improved our skills on smuggling in and hiding our scores

They said all of this was blasphemy. That it was madness. Madness? No. THIS IS STOUT SEASON!!!
