Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2017

Sure is! I haven't tried it yet, but it must be hitting stores this week. Baltic Porter this year. North Loop Wine & Spirits had some last night, you might need to ask for it. I don't think there is a ton going around as I haven't heard or seen anything about it anywhere else. Last year, I was only able to get a few singles at Stinson.

 

Last year a lot of it was dumped. There should be much more around this time.

 

That's about the 5th place i heard of that was doing 4-pks. Wow! I heard this was easier to get this year.

 

I got 2 bottles yesterday at Falls. You are correct its very good this year. Also was told stores received more this year.

It's a 10.8% ABV Baltic Porter this year... Got a sixer, haven't tried it yet. Just wanted to warn of the ABV... A bit different than previous versions

 

Just cracked one open, I dig it!

Very soft mouthfeel, loads of chocolate, bourbon on the nose and finish, but doesn't overpower.

 

Big Bad Baptist, Big Bad Baptista, and Triple Barrel BBB get released the last week of November. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested in buying any regenerative, redundant, or vestigial organs.

 

I added the cave aged and had no idea what to put the style at. It’s a lager at 10.8 or 10.9%. Baltic was the only thing I could think of to fit the bill.

There is no style description on the bottle label or on the six pack holder. I had to go to the Schell's website to get a more detailed description.
I really liked the first one I sampled, but I would stop at one bottle per session.

 

I just grabbed a 6er tonight and will have to sample soon! But at 11% I can only imagine having one in a session.

 

Depending on volume of stores....we got between 1-3 cases per store down here a couple weeks back....it is drinking great!!!

 

Re: wallet pain I didn't see anyone mention that gravity well and variants are out Nov 18 as well

Is Maple Bourbon Barrel Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break coming to Minnesota? It sounds like most of their distribution footprint already got it.
