No suprise for Chi-Lake.. I saw they have 2 bottles of DSDB now, at 24.99.. and a sign for a 13-17 vert of Darkness.. probably $500.

 

I saw 2016 and 2017 Darkness bottles for sale for $19.99 at TW yesterday. I asked an employee how much they had left and he said a ton. Is 2017 the year the supply of Darkness was greater than initial demand in MN? Is there no reason to rush out to buy it next year?

I'm still holding out hope for Darkness in a 12 or 16 oz can format and only BA Darkness in bombers in the future someday.

 

It is here but it is EXTREMELY limited, like stores got Btls if they are lucky, and in the upper $20's for a 22oz.

 

Any hints on where they might be!?

Rather than getting into active combat over acquiring limited release beers and other desirable, but not "gone in a day" beers, there should be a system set up whereby participants announce what is to be purchased, and then the same participants decide who buys what and how to distribute.
There are a few bottle shops that offer individual 12oz bottle or can sales (and then there concerns of beer age), but many times I find myself buying a 4-pack or a 6-pack where I really only want one or maybe two to sample and rate. This accumulation then becomes its own issue, as to how to get through it all (drain pour the rest is always an option, but this seems a waste).
And this is coming into the season of the release of high ABV, dark, barrel aged beers through February or so. Many of these will be larger bottles.
More arranged bottle shares may be another way to approach this. I am confident most of us have enough of a cellar store to host great shares, if it can arranged. The people I have met through this board have all been above average citizens, and not scary in the least.

Just some musings on a Friday, after filling my shopping list for the week: BA Lugene, Schell's Caved Aged, Southern Tier Montrous, Bell's Black Note, Indeed Mango Helio, Bell's Arabicadabra, Clown Shoes Breakfast Stout, and Cascade One Way Or Another.
