I'm going to assume this was a rhetorical question. After all your asking a bunch of beer nerds which beer to drink. The one and only answer is all of them. Enjoy the sampler!

Where to start would depend on when you're drinking them. Slurm Lord and PGGB are the lower ABV of the bunch and could be drank at any time and enjoyed. BTW - The PGGB from this batch is drinking great!! The rest crank it up a notch and I would recommend drinking slowly when you have no responsibility and no where to go. Definitely don't open up a Batch 5000 after a few beers as this would be a waste. Respect the high ABV and treat this one as a special treat - I personally waited until I had some new vinyl to spin and sipped it for about 1 hour while sitting back and enjoying some new tunes.....

I have been treating this pack with respect and drinking them when I can sit and truly enjoy and it's worked great for me!! One night I decided (foolishly) to crack open a Stache Bender as the third beer of the night from the pack and I woke up in the middle of the night with a good 9 ounces still left in the glass - such a waste....

My bad - substitute Hellacious Rock for PGGB in my statement above as PGGB hits double digit ABV (although this beer is great as always as well)

IPA heaven. I put most of the Hellacious Rock in the packs, by the way. :sunglasses:

Sean I see above that Good Humans is part of Variety Pack 7. Does that mean no 6-packs of Humans in January?

Just saw mega bev in Battle Creek still has bottles of the BBA cherry porter if anyone didn’t get a chance to try it earlier this year. Good solid beer.

I've been in the habit of taking a screenshot of the release calendars when they initially roll out each year to see how much they change over time. Here's 2017. You can see why they likely decided to scale things back and only announce specialties by the seasons.

Cup A Joe = my favorite coffee stout hands down! Chief Hopper was my favorite six pack first timer of 2017. Hope it finds its way back in 2018.

Two release announcements in the last few days. New seasonal release, Double Magician:

New limited release, Cup A Joe:

Cup A Joe is so nice that a few years ago I suggested to the in-laws that we stop by Higher Grounds in the Commons. They loved it, and I looked like a genius instead of a guy really into booze. The Cup A Joe branded beans are available for purchase, too.

As I power through the tail end of the 7th variety pack of the year I feel the need to say...fresh Good Humans is a mind-blowingly good beer, to my tastes at least. I've had it in the past but always with a month or two on it, and it was still really good. But with the dry-hops shining bright though the delicious brown malt base this stuff is really really great. Wow.

Really like the Russian Imperial too, really intensely hoppy but the thick malty backbone stands up well.

I love Cup A Joe and always look forward to it every Novemeber. I finally bought the Cup A Joe coffee beans earlier this year and I'm definately buying more than one bag next time Im at Short's mart.

Saw the Double Magician announcement & immediately had a flashback. Yep...I'll be getting as much of this as I can.
