France 44 has a purchase limit of two bottles of 'BA Victory At Sea' per customer visit.

 

That's what i thought , my comment was more on how good this BA Porter is.

 

Did all of the Abraxas in town get bought up? Work is getting in the way of my hunting

 

Check with Total Wine in Chanhassen and Roseville. The website shows 'Abraxas' is available for pick up at these two stores. It's difficult to believe this would be the case, since known upper tier craft beer bottle shops in metro Mpls/St Paul sold out within an hour or so after release, but it's worth a try.

 

Thanks! I called Roseville and was told they were out (also they won't be getting their shipment of CBS till tomorrow so they won't have it at open). Took a gamble and went to Scott's and got the last bottle of Abraxas!

 

Good to know about not getting CBS until tomorrow, I will be at work until 10am tomorrow and was afraid it was going to be annoyingly difficult to track a bottle down if everyone releases it at open.

Is it really $25/bottle, as it states on the website? Wow. I think it was $18 at SLL.

EDIT: The Chan store says $19.99. I think the Roseville store said $25

 

My comment works both ways. 2 bottle limit at France 44, and there's no way I could drink more than 2 bottles at a time. Limit 2.

The Midway Target said they would have CBS when they open at 8am today. Not sure about bottle count or pricing.

 

I was half expecting to come in here and read that the lines were already 20 deep.

 

No line at TW MG. Seems there are a few people in their cars in the parking lot, but I assume they are here for a wine sale or something.

 

I'm one of 6 cars outside TW Chan for the wine sale too
