I'm with you on that, but get your fill now because nothing is announced as of now for the 2018 seasonal for Oct.-Dec. which leads me to believe it will be something different next year.

But seriously this stuff is amazing. I somehow always have a sixer in the fridge and an extra 10lbs on the hips when this is out. I mean its just begging to be bought when its "on sale" for $10 "on the way" from the chicken to the milk at the grocery store.

This is a great beer. I recently found a couple of them from last year in the back of my beer fridge. It's still a good beer but not nearly as good as it is when fresh.

    1) Woodmaster keeps exceptionally well. I left a bottle in my cellar closet for almost a year and it still tasted great. Although I would have drank them all fresh if I had been more organized.

    2) In addition to my wish for a Short’s Belgian variety pack, I'm going to lobby for a Brown ale pack with Good Humans- which I'm enjoying now - Woodmaster, Chickenbach Brown, London Fog, or The Upside Down.

Looking forward to trying Woodmaster, as I need a good brown for shoveling snow.

    Hi, Sean.

At two different Binny's today (one in Cook County, IL and one in Lake County, IL), I was told that Short's is no longer available from their distributor. Any issue that you're aware of?

    Thanks!

    Jim

Tried my first Short's beer the other day. Sticky Icky Icky. Tasty. Picked up a Double Magician today.

Double Magician was, for me, a game changer. It's not a style I'm super into, but the quality was, to me, undeniable.

Please update with your thoughts, even if they're different from mine. I'd love to hear.

Will do. I may pop that open tonight after work. If I do, I'll let you know!

If you like that Double Magician, you're going to love the next beer being released -- Woodmaster. I hope you can find some of it too.

Were there ever any issues reported with Woodmaster a couple years ago?

It was the only bottle I ever tried and I got big time diacetyl.

Really enjoyed the Double Magician. I love red ales to begin with, and this was no exception

Some interesting things. First off, it looks like Local's is getting a refresh.

This comes after Bellaire Brown got a refresh last year. Since Space Rock is the newest to the year-round lineup, are Huma or Soft Parade next up?

    Also, some possible coming soons.

I really hope this one ends up in a limited release, I've been a fan of this one since 2013 when I first had it at he pub and have had the good fortune for it to be available a couple times I've been up there since. If it makes it into a bottle, I say get it.

    Coming February:

Five words: a Belgian Quad from Short's. If I can't get Evil Urges or Johnny Sweep the Leg (fka Aphasia) I am going to drink the hell out of this one. Short's does rich, dark, malty ales quite well.
