Is Zap on tap as well? I think I may have missed my chance at cans but need that Grimm goodness in my life for the holidays.

Coops Chelsea is an awesome laid back place.
Just a heads up to the thread that's given me so much.....They almost always get Grimm cans for on-site. They're really good with their beer menu updates, but very rarely does the Grimm cans get posted. If you ever miss out, give them ring....they're a pretty good bet.

I think a bunch of the whole foods still have cans because they came so late.

Whole Foods Tribeca only has the stouts and sours in large bottles. Does anybody know of some local beer stores (lower Manhattan) that carry their IPA's in cans?

I’m rarely down that way (live in Brooklyn, work in nomad), but I picked up Grimm cans at the eataly down there about a year ago

I've been critical some of Grimm's IPAs as of late, but I'm drinking a can of Zap now and it's awesome. Getting big notes of melon and passionfruit on this one. Really impressive beer.

I second that on Zap. Up there with their stronger beers; much better than the first batch.

Going to add my voice to the chorus of Zap enjoyers. This batch has a really nice melon aspect to it as @Comparison_Ford noted, as well as an occasional bubblegum note you might expect from a beer fermented with S-04. The softness is on point -- someone mentioned pillowy; I think it's a step back from there in that it still has some bitterness to it that keeps the softness from being unidimensional. Also, after pouring the rest of the can in my teku, I'm noticing the beer has become markedly more resinous and a new pine note comes out towards the end of the sip. Really delicious beer.
