    It's pretty incredible. Her mom and my grandma, both of Dutch ancestry, used to make it when we were kids. She's continuing the tradition - with much frustration. :confused::grin:

    Starting light on this fine 75 degree morning. The Miss's is making cheese-steaks for lunch so the IPA's are a coming...Both hanging out in our swim suits as we're headed to 80 today. Looking forward to winter temps the next 5 days in Asheville.

    Yikes! Third beer, only on page 2. I’ll sip this one for a long while and not drain pour it like I did on Day of the Dark. I still have a bomber of 14% ABV Samichlaus waiting for me lol

    I'm going to join a couple of others with a KBS as the pork slowly smokes. This 2016 is now mostly dark chocolate and roast with a dash of bourbon. The pork smells of sweet apple, hickory and Greenbush Brewing Aporkolis rub. A relaxing winter day along the southern shore.



    Edit: Cookies fresh from the oven, perfect with this beer!
