Has anyone seen coffee noir? Had a buddy pick up what the man on the phone confirmed was coffee noir but the bottle does not say that. Besides last year didn't we get the bombers of original noir? I'm perplexed. Louisville is Dry OF NOIRS and BParadise.

Well that makes me sad. I’ll be gone from the state till the end of February! Hopefully it isn’t anything too crazy!

Oh, and Rock House's 1st anniversary is this weekend. The BBA Coconut Monolith is great and worth the visit today before the keg is gone.

I see Mile Wide is starting to distribute Cans here in Louisville - wonder how far of an area they are going to distribute? I've been a fan since they have opened so hopefully things go well.

Where did you find information about the Ethereal New Year's Eve party? I can't find anything about it on their homepage or Facebook.

Not technically a “party” so I’m not sure how much they’ll advertise. They’re just doing something really cool. If you can make it throughout some point in the day, do it.

It's not announced yet. But it's happening nonetheless. Was talking to the rep today, and this had to do with Ethereal sending beer/barrel(s) to HF just as a gesture of goodwill.

Oh, and the new Mirror Twin Haze For Horses is silly good, and they just got a few 10BBL fermenters, so some of their haze might be seeing some distro soon.

They've made it all the way to The Party Source here in greater Cincinnati. The couple that I saw looked to be shelf turds though; or in Mile Wide's case, tap room turds.

Starting tomorrow, Shamrocks in Patchen Village will have Coffee Vanilla Baba Yaga on tap for an Ethereal tap takeover. Would expect it to last a few days.

For the record I had the new West sixth county series tonight. Bell county is absolutely amazing. I can't say that I get a whole lot of the Christmas spice in it, but it is a world-class sour. Tons of dark fruit and beautiful red wine barrel tannins. It is really well balanced without being overly sour or acidic. West sixth barrel program Continues to move in a great direction.

CBB's Legend of Wooley Swamp is a pretty good 11% RIS. I want to do a blind test between this and Snake Eyes soon.

Sent a bottle from last year's Baba Yaga release that I'd been holding onto to someone in a BiF, and it sounds like it was infected. I hadn't heard of any issues with it from here, but were there infection reports when this came out?

Had heard some people claiming it smelled of “roadkill” but I had one last month and it was still a beautiful beer.
