Had Chaos twice this month -- much more coconut than Karma. Karma is still really good but the cinnamon dominated IMO. Happy to get a pour after a snowy drive there yesterday -- how poor was snow removal despite a paltry amount of snow!?!?

Any chance there are any DDH Double Dusty and Mozie cans still available?

Both are still available. A little less dusty than Mozie right now.

Both beers were really good on tap, but I was disappointed yesterday when opening the cans....zero carb! They still taste good, but flat NE IPAs are becoming a pet peeve of mine.

I completely agree. Loved the taste but there was zero carbonation in the cans, and I pour very aggressively to try and release aroma and produce as much foam as possible. With these cans, they were quite flat.

That’s a bummer. 3 months since their last can release and they F up the carb? Also, all that equipment and they had 4 beers on tap last Friday?

It would definitely be nice if they could consistently have their own beers on tap.

Great lunch at More today. Still cans of both when we left around three. People were coming in and out semi-regularly to get some. Most only with a few 4 packs, one person with a big pile. Only saw 1 MILM grabbing cans while I was there...

First time at More. Nice little place. Had tasters of Dusty, DDH Double Dusty, Mozie, the mango Berliner, and the amber. All pretty good stuff. I really liked all the IPAs. I'll report back on the carb issue as I grabbed a 4 of each, and bigger thoughts on the beers when I have a full serving with a relatively clean palette. On tap they were perfect from a carb standpoint.

The red & yellow calamari was pretty delicious. Burger was on point. Glad to see this place was only 20 min from the in-laws. Little bummed no stout or porter on tap, but still a great beer and food experience.

I was pretty disappointed with the mango Berliner. It didn’t really taste like a beer. It tasted like the best Budlight Mango-Rita ever. Super sweet and jammy(but not in a great way). It tasted like mango purée mixed with the beer after it was fermented.

Yeah, the Berliner and Amber were my least fav, but were still fine for me. I'm not a huge Berliner fan to begin with and after all the hops and spicy app I wasn't in any position to be judging the finer (or not so fine) points of any beer. Hence the reason I ended with the amber. Although, any time the in-laws are willing to watch the kids so I can go eat and day drink, everything tastes better then.

All in all, very pleased. Place was chill to catch up with our friends, hops were great, food was tasty. Got to hand off a surprise CBS to my buddy who missed out on the release due to work. Good times.

Got here at 2:45 with DDH Dusty gone in both cans and for crowlers. Still have Mozie left. Picked up a crowler of reg Dusty.

+1 on the burgers. I hadn't had any of their IPA series but enjoyed both Mozie and DDH Dusty. DDH Dusty is like biting right into a grapefruit. It's got that same citrus quality, bitterness and dryness.

I got cans on the 23rd and had no carb issues in the 2 I’ve cracked. And they had 6 options today at lunch. One of them is just the peach mango of the regular Berliner, but they have an amber, 2 sours and 3 IPAs. Plus like 8 guest taps. Perfectly fine if you ask me.

Honestly my only complaint is the service. We ate at lunch there today with the 2 kids. 5 year old decided to be a grouch, which didn’t help. But they were very slow, didn’t bring out plates with the appetizer and the waiter disappeared after that. My wife ordered the mango sour and the waiter forgot about it until we reminded him mid meal. Not a huge issue for me, I still like to go there for a beer on the way home from the train, but to my wife who really likes their food, we may be less likely to go with the kids on a day off lunch.

Bummer. You must not have missed by much. When I walked by the cooler around 2ish I still saw a handful of 4 packs in there, but business was starting to pick up, particularly at the bar with folks sporting beards.

@Chuckdiesel24 I think we had the same person waiting on us. Things definitely weren't lightning speed, but we weren't in a rush and were sans kids. I just figured he picked up on the fact we weren't in a rush.

So just how many of us were in there at the same time? There's a joke that escapes me here. A bunch of Ba's walk into a craft beer bar the day after Christmas and... I'll let someone else finish.

Yep. Working on a DDH Double Dusty right now. When I opened the can made very little sound. Not very scientific, but when you give the can a squeeze it has more give than what you would expect, and not due to underfilling. Reminded me of opening a can of ice tea I used to drink when I was a kid. Anyways, maybe a 1/2 inch head even with an aggressive pour which dissipated quickly. Hop profile and flavor are still great on this beer, but I agree with the undercarbed part. Regardless, looking forward to bringing it back home and sharing with friends.

I didn't get very much carb on the DDH Double Dusty I ordered from the bar last night either. To be honest, I thought it tasted like hoppy pineapple/mango juice.

I can second the service while sitting in the restaurant, which is weird because I've always received excellent service at the bar. Our appetizer came out with no plates, and our waitress seemed to disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. I did notice that only 2 people were waiting tables, and the restaurant was pretty full, so I can give them the benefit of the doubt - but they should be staffing the restaurant properly if that's the case.

Pro tip: if the table service is lacking but you still like the place, sit at the bar. Much easier to yell for service than when you're at a table.

I agree 100% - however it was an unplanned date night, and we prefer to sit at a table when having dinner. Almost every time I'm at More I sit at the bar.
