More Brewing Co. (StB) - (2018)

I thought Smores tasted just like Smore Luv, except with maybe even a thicker feel. I hope that when/if they release this as Henna b3 in bottles, that it is a ticketed event. Otherwise this would draw the longest line yet and I can see a few people suffering frostbite.

 

Any word if it will be on today? Considering a trip over, if I can get my permission slip signed. Still have never had the chance to try the illustrious Henna.

 

A few people on this site would consider this a good way to thin out the heard. Work for your beer blah blah.

2 questions for @eppie82 or anyone else who was there.
1. Did they call in Henna b3 at the brewpub? Because that would imply bottles at some point. They had 2 variants (maple & coconut) at the b1 release but those don’t have a batch number.
2. Did it kick? Asking for a friend...

I hear ya, thank God for the D line. The Big Ten is 7-0 in bowl games so far and Michigan looks like they are trying their best to make it 7-1.

 

I take it that it was 1 5oz pour per person? Did they announce it or just put up the sign? Hope you had fun!

Brewpub didn't call it Henna b3 (as far as I remember last night!). Was just written in chalk Henna S'mores. The b3 is coming from Untappd where I looked for it to check-in and it was under that description. Could be that someone just made that up as they registered that beer but I think Shaun is usually the first one to register all his beers with Untappd. The other two Hennas which weren't released in bottles didn't have any batches assigned to their name. As for if it will get bottled, I didn't ask but someone that is going there today definitely should.

Yeah, it was one 5oz pour per person. It was right at 10P.M. on the dot that they made the announcement what it was going to be and it was written in chalk on one of the plaques behind the bar.

 

Well, finally got my first Henna experience.

It was.... good. Maybe very good? Nose was incredible. Taste on initial and mid palate was good. Aftertaste was a bit cloying.

Glad I finally tried it. Had S’more Money S’more problems from Pipeworks last night, and, well. Yeah. Happy I got the 5 oz pour and savored it for a long while. I do not understand the hype - which, oddly, is the best outcome I can think of.
