I'm a big Bruery fan but those are definitely some bad beers. I think you might have just chosen some bad ones because I thought they made a lot of great beers as well. Offshoot has been hit and miss but lately I've had much more hits.

I’m gonna have to try a few more Fremont beers. The couple of cans I had were good. But I thought not better than those already in my fridge.

You’re absolutely right, they have every right to. They’ll just look silly to me in the process, that’s my only position.

Your argument would make more sense if Beachwood has ever made some broad philosophical statement that everyone should only support independent businesses, in every aspect of their life. It’s not the same thing as catching some self righteous, off-the-grid-living anti-corporate hippie secretly shopping at Walmart

If anything I think they should be more embarrassed about claiming they’d never brew a hazy IPA, than using a Mac computer to do their accounting (or whatever tenuous argument you were going to make)

Wow, the succinctness of your writing is just unparalleled on this site. But seriously, if you can’t see the parallel notions that @MissFeisty is trying to cross-apply from the craft beer/independent movement, to other industries, then your totally missing his point. The points being made are sound, even though you disagree. Calling his arguments tenuous just makes you seems like a pompous D-bag. I’d guess your a lawyer.

Wow, really? personal insults just from that? simmer down

Actually I do understand his point. I guess you don't understand mine (and grilled squid).

Honestly though, if you're going to hurl personal insults at me then you should be willing to do so in person. If not, then I guess you're just an internet tough guy

Shit like this is without a doubt, the biggest disappointment in California beers.

The fact that @Black_Rider and I didn't have the avocado throwdown to finally determine which one of us was right was my biggest disappointment for 2017. I mean, I know I am right...I just need him to realize it. =P

Willing to talk in-person anytime. Live in LB, and go to Beachwood and monkish often.

Cool. Let's meet up in person some time on the streets of Long Beach or in an alley in Torrance so we can discuss, in person, MissFeisty's opinion on whether or not Beachwood's marketing terminology is hypocritical or not.

Just saying, it's lame to throw out personal insults so freely when someone is just stating their opinion.

Only fools meet strangers in the streets. I actually would meet and discuss this topic over a beer at monkish or Beachwood if you want to. It’s a topic of interest to me, and one that I know could probably never be seriously discussed on a BA forum. I’m sorry you feel insulted, but I do believe the way you were talking down to missfeisty came off as a bit conceited.

Happy to get a beer some time and we can make up and become best bros for life. I wasn't being serious about meeting in an alley. With all due respect to Miss Feisty I don't know if he or she is worth risking a felony battery charge. Also, for all I know you could be a 350 lb hazebro. So I agree, it would be foolish

    Cheers. Happy 2018

    That's some serious sh*t-slinging - I don't know what's worse, calling MissFeisty a "he" or Black_Rider a "lawyer"!
